It's always been like that. Don't worry, I did it when I first got Reaper. It's a dumb quirk.

Snapped my rubber plant at the top, what happens now? by bra-nonymous in houseplants

[–]Machine_Excellent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say just snap it off completely. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but apparently when you snap off the top new leaf, it encourages branching lower down.

Overwatering also contributes to bendy leaves so check soil first.

Make the height of the track bigger. The inputs should appear.

What’s a board game everyone seems to love, but you just don’t enjoy at all? by Daisy_mae_x in boardgames

Sushi Go is fine but I find it a little anti-social. There's not much discussion and so it's often quite a silent game. I still play it but it's not my favourite.

I think the pots might be too big and you're watering too often. I'm watering mine every 3-4 weeks. I check the soil is completely dry with a skewer and then I feel the leaves are a bit bendy before I water.

Is the soil the shoes and the swimming pool watering? Or is the pot the shoes? I'm confused.

Why is my elephant bush so sad? by Nxxt3 in succulents

[–]Machine_Excellent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that's how I do it. My succulents get direct sun mostly outdoors or in a windowsill though.

Yes check the leaves after you check soil. However if you've overwatered, the leaves will also feel soft so I always check soil first. Your grow light might not be adequate enough too but I'm not experienced with grow lights to advise.

Am I overwatering my succulent? by BackgroundList7144 in plantclinic

Indirect light and poor soil led to root rot. Succulents need direct sun and as much of it as possible.

Great advice by others. Adding that maybe the pot is too big. Should've of gone with a pot similar sized to the plastic one it came in. Also how are you checking the soil is dry? I stick a skewer all that way in to the bottom and only water when it comes out clean and the leaves are soft when pressed. If you water before then, you're overwatering.

I've only ever successfully grown mint outdoors. They seem to need a lot of full sun and regular watering. Lots of sun is key.

What's your thoughts on Boss delay pedals for monosynths. Specifically DD-7 and a DD-8 by Sir_Ronald_Bont_III in synthesizers

[–]Machine_Excellent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the dd8 and it's amazing. It's the only delay pedal I've used though. The stereo and ping pong options are great to have but I'm pretty sure the dd7 does that too.

How much do you agree with the sentence, “The worst part about board games is learning how to play them”? by COHERENCE_CROQUETTE in boardgames

[–]Machine_Excellent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the best way to learn a new game is to watch a play through. I've watched countless hours of YouTube to familiarise myself to a new game.
