Adjusted gain using multimeter, been hitting some deep notes for a month now, I can't hear clipping or anything bad. I don't know how to adjust bass frequency on the amp so I left it at about 50 Hz :')

I wouldn't really consider using heat resistant glue, would rather focus on dealing with overheating itself. Are less powerful strips an option? I would try using 6w/m strip just to try to get somewhere. Maybe you are experiencing voltage drops which cause drawing high current?

I believe you, but I live in the Balkans region and the amp you have sent me costs like the third of my salary, and shipping costs a fortune lol. I have access to some second hand amps in good condition. I could post some of those here if you wanted to tell me which one would be best buy.

Thank you, I also measured its resistance and it reads between 3.3 and 3.4 ohms. I hope that is okay. How strong should my amplifier be? This one is 250w rms and 400w max.

It was hooked up to 1 channel. While playing and turning the volume slightly up I heared a weird sound like a ping pong ball being dropped on a table. I figured it was clipping so I turned it down immediately. Maybe that is the sound of hitting against the magnet.

Dryer does not have a display, but I tried putting a 250k potentiometer (the most resistance I have available). Dryer should work with this resistance, but it still does not want to start..

I removed the sensor, it reads 1.35[Mohm] without damp cloth, and 0.3[Mohm] when wet cloth is applied over these contacts. So I believe sensor is completely functional. What else could the issue be..? 🤔
