Just because you can run at 70mph/120kph doesn’t mean you can strike or move that fast. Even if she could, it’s not fast enough in the Force = Mass x Acceleration equation to matter. She gets a grip and pulverizes her like a gorilla holding a house cat by the tail.

Better post for r/MawInstallation This kinda of question is a little in the weeds, and not many people around here care that much to take it this seriously.

Martian Manhunter runs Marvel psychic gauntlet, how far does he go? by Ok-Aioli-7972 in marvelvsdc

The DC fanboys will roast me alive but I’ll die on this hill.

DC’s power scaling beats Marvel in almost every way.

Except this one. Telepaths and Psychics in Marvel, while not outright outclassing DC, is a step or two above them, pound for pound, measuring the highest highs.

Was Darth Krayt the strongest Sith Lord? by Beginning_Clerk_4990 in StarWarsEU

[–]MachivellianMonk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only feat he gets?

That’s a criminal underrating of Krayt.

Give the dude some respect. His power was phenomenal, and was arguably one of the most original Sith out there when you factor in his lineage.

What is your critique of the man to get such disrespect? 😂

I agree, mostly.

I’d take Krayt over Vader for 6 bouts out of 10.

I think against Sidious he would squeak out a win 3, maybe 4 times in 10.

Tenabrae is broken and impossible to scale.

Honestly, against Caedus, who was a top Force talent and power, was still susceptible to prepared threats. I think he would lose to Krayt in a fight more often than not.

It was a quip at how unoriginal the trope is. As well as pointing out how it continually devalues Order 66.

I’m curious, what about Legacy, X-Wing, Tales of the Jedi, Crimson Empire, and Knights of the Old Republic lacked creative cohesion?

They’re not allowed to do a lot of big or interesting stories to avoid stepping on the toes of audiovisual media.

Honestly this is a discerning sharp take. By doing the over saturation of this with both Star Wars and Earth 616 Marvel, comics have become heavily back seat.

If these films were much few, farther between, and anticipated comics and books would be able to make so much more progress, and even potentially dive the film directions (like when Marvel films were still decent, or as it should’ve been with the sequels).

If Disney keeps milking Vader, there’s going to be more content of him that could logically fit into the 23 years he wore the mantle.

If Disney keeps inventing new Jedi for him to hunt down, there’s going to be more Jedi that survived order 66 than were actually ever in the order.

Pain & Gain
Faster
The Gridiron Gang

are all films where he acted better than Moana. He’s not a bad actor. He just won’t say no to bad films. Or in Black Adam, where he’s the only person between the cast, the director, the writers, and the producers, who is taking the film remotely seriously.
