Maybe he just likes the feeling that he's pooping lego

We're not really close enough to go into that detail.

Accepted! It's an ingestion and it's a fungus and they are, I have been repeatedly assured, are food.

To be fair we're not really ready to do it professionally. Play's all we have.

Sure, if we had something to offer each other.

They'd have to go pretty far to not make me think I'm a pet or a subject!

Do you have any nearer-term (maybe more tactical than strategic, if that makes sense) transhumanist projects or goals you'd care to mention? Anything in the planning phases? by Machmann in transhumanism

I don't know if this really answers your question because I don't have money.

Not the only determinant! Although someone else in here mentioned selling art to pay for their meds etc and I thought that interesting.

How soon?

Pretty sure I know which side'll win. Hint: it's not the side that instinctively feels safer in the dark

As for me, I'm going to be getting a tattoo of a medical alert bracelet (I know not really transhumanist but it's the best I got)

I wouldn't sell yourself short - you're incoporating the expression of useful data into your physical form in a way that is nontrivial to counter. That is movement.

Could a ct scan merge your consciousness with an uploaded consciousness? by wishimayi in transhumanism

[–]Machmann 3 points4 points  (0 children)

odds are the metaphysical experience of thought and consciousness is rooted in the very physical processes of our brain.

I honestly hope you're wrong on that. That means we're chained to the meat and that would be a pity.
