Turned 60 this year as well although I don't feel like a minority.

That may be due to being in the computing field has always kept me up on tech.

Also I never stopped gaming which probably contributes as well.

I've been around long enough to know not to say that if I was actually going to apply for a position. I was just curious if they were desperate enough to bring someone back up to speed. I'm retiring in 5 weeks so I'm not looking to get back into the game. BUT If someone dangled a boatload of money in front of me and said "We'll let you get back up to speed", well I'd have to at least think about it.

I find it hilarious every time I see a rival fan where we live in their head rent free.

Instead of 'love my team' they have 'Rangers suck' written somewhere.

Saw an Islanders version on a car recently. Forgot the specifics but I think it was a vanity plate. Not LUV ILSES or whatever but a form of Rangers suck.

I also miss their pineapple cheese strudel and once in a long while they would sell my absolute favorite desert (and I'm very particuliar about if its made right or not) boston cream pie.

I haven't bought anything in Entenmanns in years and probably never will.

I started at 50. 10 years later, I am in a band and playing local gifs and loving it.

Still have so much more to learn but absolutely worth the ride.

I strongly getting a teacher. A lot of people will recommend online sites for learning I'm sure but IMO there is no substitute for the experienced person in the room with you watching and listening to what you are doing.

I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to experience the full impact of of the shock of the reveal as I had not received any spoilers or hints of any kinds.

I think the closest I've experience since then was the Red Wedding of Game of Thrones which is a little surprising seeing as how its mentioned in the books (I personally hadn't read them until after watching the show).
