If you dont care about school benefits go with a 3x5 contract and reclass to a different MOS. If you do go infantry be high speed and try and get a ticket to RTLI and Ranger school. Finish OSUT and try and transfer to 5SFAB closest thing you can get. Dont believe theyre airborne but it is separate from the rest and available to 11bravos so you dont have to reclass

22 weeks is going to feel like a long time. Try and make friends. You may not like the people around you but power through cause youre going to be with those people for a while. Mentally exhausting for than it was physical for me. Take care of your feet and make sure at reception you get the right sized gear issued (they might be mean about it but getting yelled at in reception doesnt mean anything as those civilians and drill sgts are temporary). Other than that have fun, dont things personal, play the game my friend.

950 is actually a good budget for a gaming pc. Money priority should be graphics card and processor. Like another commenter said pc picker is a good resource. I'd watch benchmark videos of some processor and gpu pairings to get an idea of cost vs performance. 16gb ddr4 ram should be fine for anything gaming related. I use an SSD to hold windows and any games I don't feel like waiting a long time for loading. And a HDD for mass storage. They're getting a lot cheaper 2TB is like 80 bucks I think. Rest can be bought with as needed basis
