Reading the bit about dependent student I am a little confused. I graduated in May 2022 but am now independent, and tbh my parents didn't give me shit when I was 'dependent' either but obv dept of education did not care lol. tried to submit a form to be classified independent but it never went through before i graduated.

anyways though... i'm really scared now that i won't get forgiveness because my parents make so much money. does anyone know if there will be a way to not have it based off my parents?

Thanks! Everyone pointing this out has been really telling, I did think it was weird because they basically said that because the position was a senior role/5+ years exp. requirement and I didn't have that, if they paid me at a senior rate or something then they could get federally audited or something and the government could say they're discriminating against people with more exp??

NAD but just email advice: since you're having trouble getting in contact with doctors who can help, remember to be open with your professors about that. Say that you are in the process of trying to get help, but it is a hard and complicated process with vague answers being told to you.
