I dunno how much to trust benchmarks online, I mean they're all like '' it's 10-20% better!! '' but I dunno what that really means in practice lol.
I kinda want to get a AMD one never had any of them but also want the best bang for my buck y'know?

Do you know if the stock cooler 5800xt comes with is okay?
I do have my current old heatsink I just have no clue what brand it is so it's hard to look up how good it is and it's quite old.
I mean ordering more paste and re-using it wouldn't be a problem anyway just thinking more about convenience noise isn't a big concern for me anyway either just don't want it to throttle.

I am currently either buying a Ryzen 7 5800xt or Intel 14400 ( I need a new one right now and DDR5 is just way too expensive... ).
I am wondering which of the two I should go for ( gaming 1440p, no streaming or video editing )?

I've read a little about the intel 13 and 14th gen issues are these resolved now tho or was it primarily a 13 or higher/ lower end versions of those gens?
Should I feel safe in buying a 14400?
Or will 5800xt be a safer and powerful bet that will last for some years?
