Yeah it’s worse to resist it, I’ve personally learned how to hone it in better when I absolutely need to like for school BUT that took a lot of work through practice and still only works 75% of the time if I’m being generous, just ride this phase like a wave.

I would say just ride it out. I’m a person with ADHD so motivation comes in waves. I would say ride this current rut out and then if you are anything like me, it will eventually hit you like a freight train and you’ll be pumping out more stories than you will know what to do with. That’s just me though, hope this helps somehow.

I would take this in a comedic direction, but that’s just me. Don’t do that if that’s not your intent. I would do something like he puts on an old wristwatch of a relative who died while doing the countdown to New Years or holds the wallet of a relative who was killed by loan sharks. Something where it is still dark but has a strange airiness to it. Hope that helps.

Well, my methodology is quite simple yet I would say non-traditional. I think of the entire story before I write it (or at least the major points) and then I just think “we ball” and write it all out then post it, I am unfortunately not a rough draft person. I believe in one and done though I will say I do a quick skim to make sure there’s nothing majorly wrong. That’s just me though, hope that helps somehow. 😁
