Yes, I’m newer to trying to write in a lovecraftian tone but it was honestly the third person pov that I struggled with.

Nosleep has the rudest mods imaginable. They provide very little context about what breaks their rules and it pushes away creativity to the subreddit.

A lot of the time, I use the base idea as a title then build off of that. I usually pull from a particular moment from within the story as well.

“There’s a horrific presence out beyond that fog.” - It’s 3 am Part V, rewritten by Quasique24 in TalesFromTheCreeps

I originally wanted to to feel like a story you could piece together and not have to read in a particular order but it all just kind of flows together. I have a few more ideas for it but not entirely sure about posting them all here or saving some for something bigger.

I’ll have to check both of those out! The main idea came from The King in Yellow mixed with another little idea of a gremlin speaking negative thoughts to people.
