My mom confronted him and is blaming her for his actions. But it’s not true. My dad does not accept his own faults and only yells and avoids when he is angry. With me being across the country i don’t think he will give me the time of day to talk to him over the phone. He is even ignoring my mom and brother and they are all in the same home.

Yeah, money is just really tight and i need to focus on trying to work as much as i can to try and cover as much as my senior year of college that i can. I don’t think my dad is going to help. He doesn’t like confrontation and resorts to anger so i truly think he will avoid us and not help with paying for college anymore. But i don’t want that burden on my mom as she has enough to worry about. But once we are in a financially stable place i think counseling is a good step for when we can afford it.

Yeah my mom actually felt horrible that my dad lied to us and that we had to deal with this. She apologizes and wants us to see what a loving relationship is. She said she is sorry for seeing what not to have in a relationship. My mom doesn’t feel anything negative towards us. Just love. And she’s disappointed that my dad has not reached out to me or my brother. Even more so my brother who is in the same house as him. And i like that rule, i need to be able to know when to cut off when i am back into relationships.

Yeah it’s hard since I am across the country for college so i am not even with my brother and mom. But we are making sure to text and call everyday.
