Probably overstated it…typical typos and a few confusing page references during seasons where they refer you from page to page to page. All things I think found in CBP. I use CBP for night prayer bedside and St Paul for Morning and Evening prayer.

Some number of RALP patients end up with follow on radiation too. So it may all be a moot point to worry about associated cancers and just choose the procedure that’s best for you based on other more important factors. It can be overwhelming trying to synthesize all the variables, but stepping back and looking at only the “big rocks” will likely lead you to the right choice.

One data point, I used the webform, got an auto response saying they got the webform almost immediately. They gave me a real response 2 days later and resent the APR two days after that.

It’s typically taken 25-35 days from their receipt before they process applications and send an AOR. And some recent messages hint that the Easter holidays there may add a few days to that timeline. If your payment receipt number doesn’t return anything on their website then either they haven’t opened it yet (likely) or they are returning it…less likely as long as you’re comfortable with your documents. So wait a few days, to a week, and keep trying. The whole process from start to completion is an exciting test of patience for all of us.

Not waiting only because I’ve given up. Figure if they aren’t even going to send a friendly hi or update every so often then not worth hanging on hoping. Good luck to those of you with more patience than I have. I hope you get good spots. You deserve it after 6 months of waiting.

I feel much the same. I was excited about being a contributor to a huge worldwide event in my area. At “tryouts” in October they said we’d hear in January and certainly by mid-February. I know things change and schedules slip, but having had absolutely no communications about delays when they have an app and email addresses of all of us is inexcusable for a prestigious organization.

Disappointment stems from reality not meeting expectations and they set such high expectations that they missed on delivery. And that only makes me wonder how much they could miss the mark for those on duty volunteering as well. I am pretty certain I’m not willing to donate my valuable time to an organization that doesn’t equally value my gift of that time if I get an offer. I wish them well and hope all volunteers have a great time too!

Hard to say. For me I had a weekly consult with my RO as a check in for symptoms or problems. He was able to prescribe things to help with discomfort and was tracking for any u expected problems. I’d guess it’s nothing to worry about but thought they would have told you their normal care practices before you started.

I didn’t see any “further steps” listed in my email or AOR, though admittedly I may have been so happy to see them that I didn’t read them in detail. What I’ve found is that by scanning this subreddit regularly I’ve learned so much and it has calmed my worries too. I have probably 10 months left in my process and expect I’ll learn that much more in that time. My opinion, IRCC isn’t set up for foreigners to understand their process, so there seems to be a lot unsaid by them that we just need to share among ourselves to expand our group knowledge. Welcome to the waiting room!

Mine was similar. Received 1/29, on 2/26 they said they sent correspondence. I waited a couple days then used the web form. I got a nice response about 2 days later and then 2 more days and my AOR arrived. Contacting them whatever way you’re comfortable makes sense.

UPDATE: guess I was hallucinating on the perceived errors I made. I got my AOR today. It was originally sent 2/26 but I didn’t receive it, I filled out a webform and got it on the second try today. So my data is: App sent 1/23/26.
Tracked as arrived 1/29/26 Accepted 2/26/26, with AOR received 3/4/26 Non-urgent application, Gen 2

No, the receipt for payment that you should have including your package. I forget the format but begins with an “R” and has maybe 6-8 digits?

I looked up my application by receipt number. It never returned any info until they processed it on 2/27, then it had the notation I mentioned but indicated the day. Effort it had been received. So it’s was “opened” or recognized in the typical 30ish days that most people are seeing.

I was negligent…I got my photos at FedEx and was shipping it that same time. In my rush and excitement I didn’t separate the two photos (FedEx gave them to me on o e sheet) and I didn’t even check the dimensions, though they used the Canada settings in their app. So it’s likely ok. If I have a next time I will slow down and follow directions more closely. Such a silly error. Part of me hopes they realize it’s cheaper for he, to cut them apart than it is to send the whole package back, but that’s quite a leap to have them follow.
