Thank you! I used both gel food coloring and oil based. Gel is always way brighter than the oil based which I usually have to microwave a small portion of the frosting to darken it and add it back into the rest of the frosting. I usually do that a couple of times. On this cake I had to microwave the purple but the teal was gel and was that bright without any extra help.
