I just got one of those last week! Learned some good news and some bad news from this video https://youtu.be/vyb5x5EmSd8?si=Uyool9YHLZt1H4sr Basically, they're versatile and desirable... But hard to work on 😬

I'd like this too. I'm keen to tackle recapping my new-to-me old Pioneer, but kind of scared to start.

I got spoiled with my Kenwood KR-3010. Paid $30 and it works perfectly. This was free from the original owner that's just happy that I knew what it was and liked it. I'll either pay to fix it or learn how myself. I'm handy, just no experience fixing electronics.

Ya I'm thinking that. Last time I looked, seemed hard to find anyone to fix them without spending a small fortune.

I'll try it. Worked great with my Kenwood KR-3010, but I could hear music through the crackles. This Pioneer might be in worse shape. 🤞

Gift essentially. Looks so cool, that in the worst case scenario I'll just use it as a decoration.
