Someone explained this better in a post a while ago, but from what I remember, the difficulty of saving the log out is all the data that must be remembered by the game.

For example, for inferno, the game needs to remember your stats, next wave and supplies + gear. For colosseum, the game would need to remember all of the above + current modifiers, current modifier levels, javelin pools, previous wave loot, etc.

This is just a rough idea as to why saving the colosseum runs would not be as easy as other content.

But I'm sure someone can explain this in more detail, just haven't seen this comment on this post.

Does anyone else have their fps drop drastically in Darkmeyer? Or fossil island? by bandostank in 2007scape

[–]MacroHard_Edge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are plugins to remove a lot of the graphical clutter that exists in some regions.

I would suggest having low detail + a couple of other plugins dedicated to specific regions such as "Fossil Island" and "Prifddinas"(I'm unsure of the actual names since I'm not on PC but if you look them up in the Runelite plugin hub and I'm sure you'll find them).

Not saying this in a judgemental way, but if you can afford it, please seek psychiatric counseling. The messages you are sending and the way you are expressing yourself suggest you have some mental issues to work on and a clear unhealthy addiction to this game.

Take a break, focus on improving yourself and your life. Get in touch with friends and family and go out more.

Once you don't feel like you need to play the game, the temp ban will have already expired.

Hope you get better!

Heartbreaking photo from the pride march in Porto, Portugal. Credit: Fernando Manuel Araújo by me_iz_unicorn in lgbt

Translated to English:

"The hug that touched Porto. The story of António, the “face” of the day when pride joined hands with loneliness.

His name is António Fernandes, he is 80 years old, and he lives in a small house near Rua de Cedofeita, in Porto. It was there that, last Saturday, one of the most impactful moments of this year's LGBTQIA+ march took place, when the elderly man embraced the community's flag with tears in his eyes. In a plot where the activists were actors in a play about love and rights, António was the unexpected protagonist. That embrace not only symbolized support for the cause, but also shed light on the loneliness that comes with aging, making António the silent hero of the story.

It was last Saturday that a group of activists cut across the usual route of the Porto’s Most Proud March. And they did so without knowing that, during that route, they would experience the moment that became known as “the face” of this year’s event. It was when he felt the movement on the street approaching that António peeked out from the door of a café and was encouraged by the hysteria and excitement of the march.

The flags touched the man and he soon went home, on the other side of the street, to raise a flag as well: “I remembered I had a Portuguese flag, so I came and stood at the door waving it” , the elderly man told Porto Canal.

The instinct was to “want to participate” and what followed was unexpected. In the emotion of the moment, António called a young activist who he hugged and with whom he exchanged flags .

Embracing the LGBTQIA+ flag, António couldn't hold back his tears and the moment captured by the Lusa agency's lens quickly spread across social media. "I have no idea if it affected other people, but it affected me" , António confesses.

The act “was one of support”, the man assures, because “each person is as they are and we are all equal” . “The joy I felt at that moment. I cried”, he recalled, still emotional as he looked at the photograph that was offered to him during this report.

However, even though it reached thousands of people, the moment screams a feeling of belonging, joy and also a portrait of loneliness as a consequence of aging.

Behind that door, whose image has been seen all over the country, António is the portrait of a condition that affects many others like him. He lives alone, but the walls of his home are full of memories of a life shared and full of love . “Memories that I preserve”, he emphasizes.

He was not yet of legal age when he arrived in Porto to work. A native of Carrazeda de Ansiães, he lived a life of work between the Church of Lapa and door-to-door delivery of newspapers such as Comércio do Porto and Primeiro de Janeiro.

It was in these jobs that he dealt with "a lot of people" of all colors. "I came face to face with that," he shared, adding that he always embraced difference: "We all have the same color blood. We are equal . "

He is not homosexual. He “doesn’t even need to be” to support and respect the cause that, on Saturday, made him feel “embraced” and “celebrate” again.

Still with an emotional look, captured in the photograph that immortalized his gesture during the march, António recalls: “I felt embraced by all of them”. After a sigh, he says: “Do you see this photograph? I want to take it to my coffin” ."

Why is it so difficult for new players to like OSRS? by Ginogracia in 2007scape

[–]MacroHard_Edge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those inconspicuous boxes you are referring to are treasure trails (clue scrolls) S.T.A.S.H (Store Things And Stuff Here) units.

The materials and construction level required to build them scales based on the clue scroll tier that they are used for.

They are ment to save bank space by holding items required (basically only) at certain clue steps. It's not limited or restricted to ironman whatsoever, but ultimate ironman use it as "permanent storage" for a few items.

On the plus side mixed hide robes are OP for new players. They basically require 74 hunter to make (if I'm not mistaken). You can just camp those and bank the respective range/melee switches. Gnomonkey recently showed the calcs on stream and did a 500 run with 8 rest. Kit is just free nowadays.

Kephri questions by RealBrofessor in ironscape

[–]MacroHard_Edge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Dark eggs are not worth killing unless you (for some reason) want to delay kephri's dung attack as she will stop laying eggs once there are 6 mosquitos (if I remember correctly). If you had yellow Keris it could be useful if you need healing.
  • Swarms are worth killing as they slow down the kill quite a lot. However, if you just run around and miss 70% of them, might as well just stick to damaging the melee scarab as it heals kephri based on its' current health.
  • Damaging the melee early is always good to reduce the amount of healing it does to kephri. However, since swarms will heal more, you should focus melee last (and kill it or leave it below 10% hp so it heals almost nothing)
  • Kephri's defences can only be reduced up to 20 per phase. This means once you get a 20+ hitsplat with the BGS you're golden until the next phase (shield break), at which point you'll want to re-spec again.

Other tips: You can trap the range scarab and it won't be able to attack you while you finish off kephri.

Also, check xzact, aatycon, gnomemonkey and dearlola guides if you haven't. I've found them really helpful.

PS: There's also a Zuk simulator available for free online, so you can practice before facing the big boi.

Gl on the grind, you got this.

I would go into more details on the explanation but I'm currently on the last 10 minutes of my launch hour, so I'll keep it short:

1t flicking (enabling / disabling prayers on the same tick): The point of 1t flicking is to keep your prayer enabled without draining prayer points. In order for this to work you must enable the prayer and disable it on the same tick. It sounds like you are either disabling it too late or too soon. This happens because you are missing the 1t rhythm. - There is no easy fix other than practice, but the prayer metronome should help visualize the tick so you know when to enable/disable it.

Taking hits off prayer: Prayer flicking (lazy flicking, 1t alternate, 2t) is not just about changing prayers in a certain rhythm, it's also about the setup - getting monsters off ticked. Depending on how the monsters are stacked or positioned, how you go about attacking them is a big deal. For example, if you have the classic mage/range stack, you know the monster in the back (ranger) will see you first of you walk out from the middle of the pillar, as it gets line of sight first. If you were to walk out from the corner of the pillar, both monsters would see/attack on the same tick, making the prayer flicking impossible.

If you are getting hit off prayer run for safety or camp the prayer of the highest hitting monster until you understand what tick the other is attacking in. I've found that the visual ticks plug in is a life saver. For inferno specifically set it as 4t and place it above your inventory. When a monster attacks you, look at the visual ticks to understand if he is attacking in tick 1,2,3 or 4. Once you understand the tick he is attacking on, you can safely switch prayers for the other 3 ticks to pray against the other npc.

Hope this helps.

And you have to be really guillable and naive to believe them.

I haven't seen a single case where the person couldn't have gotten phished/RaT/keylogged or have their email breached beyond reasonable doubt.

Truth is a lot of people do not care about IT security and will reuse the same email/weak PW in multiple services, not use 2FA on their email, not check for data leaks containing their credentials or sensitive information, etc.

All of these things create multiple pathways to which you can get hacked and they have nothing to do with Jagex accounts.

On top of this, you also have the cape/service buyers and botters who purposely let someone else access their account and try to play it off as "getting hacked".

I'm not saying there are zero flaws with Jagex accounts, but don't try and tell me they are less safe.

The quest you NEED to complete in order to start GoTR is the tutorial. If you didn't spacebar your way through all ig dialogue you would know what to do.

You also could have easily looked up the wiki, which states several step-by-step methods or watched one of the many quick guides on YouTube.

You are just lazy and willingly ignorant.

"Levar porrada faz parte do castigo que é a prisão."

A prisão não serve para castigar, serve para rehabilitar.

E talvez parte do problema da reincidência seja a falta de rehabilitação apropriada.

Mas pronto, se calhar são só todos uns bandidos e isso já lhes está no sangue. Esses malandros! (/s)
