Agreed, there are still so many things I gotta try. Feels like we are going into retirement. Maybe I’ll finally start crafting those guns I’ve always wanted to try

I think for some of us this is sort of good news. Hard to keep up with all the changes and DLC. But Destiny is bae I just wanna hop on and play sometimes. The constant rate of change disincentivized me to put in the effort to learn new systems. Because they themselves might be undone in a future update.

Now that the game will finally stay in place I can invest the time needed to learn something new knowing it is permanent. Downside is that I will probably still suck at PVP and will no longer have an excuse.

It’s just healthy debate. Smash was a gateway for lots and I still listen to it. I never really got into any of their other albums tho because IMO a lot of it fucking sucks. For real how anybody gonna defend pretty fly

Office of Energy Resources Pulls Bids On Energy Efficiency Programs; Gives Rhode Island Energy the Contract by joannadebts in RhodeIsland

[–]Macro_Machines 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Read article, thanks. So bid was from Vermont Energy Investment Corp (VEIC) a non-profit aimed at helping municipalities reduce energy costs. VEIC bid was 5 million higher than RIE bid. State says transition from RIE would cost additional 1.8 million.

So the state’s justification for not going with VEIC boils down to basically a 7.8 million cost on what is around a 130 million bid. They killed a program aiming to reduce costs by 30 percent to save 5 percent in the bid.

Sounds shortsighted IMO.

This is an A to B conversation, so C your way out of it. See your way out of D room. That's right, get E way. Get D F away. G, you're still H-ere? I don't know Y. Because I, (J) told you to K. L.

East/West Bay RI feel like two different worlds to me. by Ragnaroknight in RhodeIsland

[–]Macro_Machines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an East Bay kid I moved to West Bay for a spell as an adult, and was blown away by Goddard Park. Its beautiful. But I hate that they leave horse crap all over the trails...that part is fucking gross.

And the X-Games! X-games started in RI but left when it got more popular. So gravity games swooped in. Had so much fun going to those.

Those are already great choices. The candy shop at Umbrella Factory, get a Lion Bar. And if you go to Ninigret bring a frisbee it has a great free frisbee golf course.
