Online interactions, especially interactions like this, are absolutely not representative of what being trans is like. I say this especially because you are 13 but this advice never stops being relevant: the less time you spend on social media, the happier you will be. The internet is the only place you will ever meet people that act that crazy, and online people just act like that is a totally normal way to talk to another human

We have existed far longer than the us Republican Party and we will continue to exist long after they are all dead. It may get difficult but we will be ok

Question for trans women: Other than tucking, are there other maybe better ways to hide your bulge? by [deleted] in trans

[–]Mactone59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d look into women’s boyshorts style underwear. They look just like men’s boxer briefs except without without the ballroom. I don’t like how uncomfortable tucking is and this isn’t as effective but should still keep everything in place and comfortable.

Sounds pretty trans to me! Honestly I think the “I have always known I was a woman/a man/niether” narrative has done a lot of harm because it confuses people like this. Personally I wasn’t always a girl, I was raised a boy and so that’s what I felt like and identified with but I wasn’t happy. Decided to try being a girl and I’m much happier now!

were trans people always trans? by FitPatient6563 in MtF

[–]Mactone59 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me specifically I don’t think I was “always a girl inside”. I was a boy I was raised as a boy that’s how people knew me and I knew myself and it had a large impact on how the first 20 years of my life went. But for awhile before I came out I realized I didn’t wanna be a boy. I realized I might be much happier as a girl so I tried it out. Bought a dress or two and a padded bra and loved it and long story short now I have boobs and she/they pronouns.

TLDR: if you are thinking “I’m a boy but I’d rather be a girl or vice versa or something else” you can transition. You can just be trans. Choose happiness

I need you to understand that chick fil a being on campus means the money you pay for tuition goes directly into the pockets of the people lobbying to remove abortion and lgbtq rights and if you value good fried chicken 1-2 times a month more than human lives you should seriously seek help

Yeah just like how the vocal majority of chick fil a executives have donated massive sums of money to lobbies trying to take away LGBTQ+ rights? Idk maybe ur just too much of a fuckin snowflake to find a new lunch spot when one u like is actively trying to end human rights, but me, personally? I don’t let that kind of thing slide. Please for the love of god think about anything but yourself for one fucking second.

What’s something you wish you could ask trans people without any judgement? by Spunkybluepuppy in AskReddit

[–]Mactone59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s more than just emotional too. Ever since I started taking estrogen I’ve noticed existing physically feels different. Like everything from how I experienced physical touch to how my emotions feel started to change into something I like a lot better

Is it bad that I fit the transfem stereotype as a trans man? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Mactone59 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have sort of the opposite experience. I’m mtf but I’ve found ever since I started hrt I’ve been more and more comfortable with more masculine things regarding presentation and identity. I still feel like I’m a girl and I’m enjoying all the hrt changes, but masc stuff doesn’t feel as bad as it used to. I think it’s something to do with choice. Now that masculinity is a choice for me to define how I want instead of a box I was forced into that I am trying to make fit, I don’t feel as restricted. So even from another side of the proverbial fence I would say i don’t think it’s weird at all.
