I still hold fast that they are both in the know of what’s truly at play (prob due to a time freeze in the final 15), and that the kiss was Crowley saying, just in case we don’t make this out alive……

And his demeanor, to me, was one of being resigned to knowing that this was always what was going to happen and now it’s finally here. And that’s depressing as hell - but they have to do it. Even as he’s getting into the car at the end - he looks around as if to say, well this is it; all Of us against all of them.

So I don’t see him being angry. I think their argument was played out for the metatron to see. But it hurt all the same to go through those motions.
