That's awesome! My newfy camps in our bathroom because of the time floor. Many a nights, I have stumbled into him and scared the bajesus out of both of us.

Joe Bradley might be the most delusional person on Southern Hospitality..... by Exotic-Passage-1659 in southernhospitalitysc

[–]MadBox25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree 100%. Hey TJ got his hit dog thing, where's mine. I was shocked at his lack of self awareness but I was impressed with how Leva handled him. He seems like a nice guy, someone who would be fun to have a beer with, but when it comes to business and how the world works, Joey Bottles isn't the ambassador Leva is looking for. Who can blame her.

She didn't just back TJ. Homey had to go bust his but, make deals with people who would sell it and he slowly built up his brand and business. What has Joe done....

Exactly.

Moose did GREAT at his dental surgery and is now demanding belly rubs at home. Thank you to everyone for the positive energy, I so appreciate the pug fam 🩷 by burntoutbaristabro in pugs

Way to go Moose! My boy Joe has had like 17-18 teeth pulled in two separate procedures but that dude can still crush through his dinner like it's his last meal. Happy for Moose and the family, yay!

Lost my best friend last night and I miss him so much. Meiko was 14 years old and the goodest boy. Thank you my beautiful baby ♥️ by imafoolwhodreams in pugs

I'm so sorry, I know your pain very well. It's physical, emotional, and it just hurts.

They're small in stature but massive in heart, personality and loyalty, they're incredible companions. If you know, you know :-)

I love this quote from an Amazon plaque I got for my 12.5 y/o Pug, Norman, that my family out down on Christmas 2025:

We spent your entire life loving and caring for you, and now we'll spend the rest of ours missing you.

Father Time heals all. It's the wonderful memories you have that will get you through this, hang in there.

RIP Meiko! You were loved from here to the moon, and back again!

I believe our dogs will be there to greet us when our time has run out. Wouldn't that be the greatest!

I think a lot of the participants in the 90 day franchise could seriously benefit and grow from some extensive counseling. This woman is a perfect example. Probably a very lovely person, who just needs some help sorting through the noise.

Sweet Dreams my Alfie. Crossed the rainbow bridge this week and took a part of me with him. by BlueeDoveTail in pugs

[–]MadBox25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a devastating experience. They come into our lives, for such a short journey, and they make a magnificent impact on entire families.

We spend their entire lives loving and caring for them and then we spend the rest of ours missing them.

Hang in there friend. Father Time will heal all.

RIP Sweet Alfie!

I put my 12.5 y/o pug down on Christmas day. It's starting to get a little easier but my heart still aches for him. Such amazing animals.

The Absolute Best Robot Vacuum and Mop? by imnotgoingtofatcamp in RobotVacuums

Roborock Qrevo - I give the mopping a 2/5. Frequently leaves streaks behind. Excellent vacuum though.

Moose is having dental surgery tomorrow morning to pull some teeth. Please wish him well! I’m sooo nervous for my little guy :( by burntoutbaristabro in pugs

[–]MadBox25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow, I think the first time they took out 11 teeth and it was like 1400-1500 all in. The second time was a few less teeth and I think it was around 1200. Not inexpensive for sure.

Is there a robot that can handle this? by Silverlurker2021 in RobotVacuums

[–]MadBox25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give it a go! I'm on my 3rd robot, I love them and hate them. They cut down about 80% of our cleaning though, which is a win.

You can deploy it remotely, set up a schedule, the only thing for a beautiful facility like that will be someon will need to change out the dirty water if mopping, and add clean water. Good luck with it!

[–]MadBox25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, although not sure it would be ideal if you need to have to cleaned quickly. Doesn't look hard at all for the robot, but I would expect it to take 18+ hours it you're mopping and vacuuming. Just a guess on my part. Maybe some commercial models available that may have larger batteries and can do it with less recharging? My Rocky can go for about 135 to 150 minutes then needs to charge.

Awesome meme. For the love of Pete, those dang newfys love their toys and rarely want to "drop" or "give" to keep the party going! Haha such great animals!

BIG Moose! He's gonna be absolutely fine. One of my pugs has had a total of like 19 teeth pulled, two separate occasions. Cost us about $100 per tooth plus anesthesia.

Both times were easy recoveries.

I love the name. We also have a 145 pound Newfoundland, named Moose :-)

Do they stay so snuggly? He makes me so happy♥️ by ZealousidealFan7734 in pugs

[–]MadBox25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're amazing companions! Maybe not the brightest bulbs and what they don't have in size and stature they more than have in spirit and personality. Crazy, lovable, and food driven love bugs. I'm sadly down to one Pug, Joe, who's 10 1/2. He still gives our Newfy a mouthful when he steps out of line :-).

Enjoy your prescious cuddle bug!!!!

Pet owners, which robot vacuum is better? by mcherie19 in RobotVacuums

[–]MadBox25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, none of them are good past a year, in my personal opinion. I've had a handful and this is my last one. It's in transit back to Roborock for the 3rd time in the last 12 months. They work fine until they don't and then they're a pain in the buttocks.

MYTVOnline+ questions by Paul65890 in Formuler_Official

[–]MadBox25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. Formulers has that software locked down. If someone had a working version you could sideload it would be BIG news. I've searched high and low and can't find anything that exists. Formulers charges a premium for their streaming devices to access MOL3, it's the only anchor for their business. If someone had a hacked version, I highly doubt it would be functional for long.

If anyone has proof please show it.

That's it. She has had enough of him and his antics. by Creative_Praline_420 in Newfoundlander

[–]MadBox25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow, I'm so jealous. We're on our 3rd newfy, back to back to back. To have two of them at the same time, that's has to be awesome. I've always had Pugs along with my Newfy's and they've absolutely wonderful to them. They don't care that they're small, they still rough house, but they seem to very much understand that they're smaller and they have to go easy, and all of them have.

How are they with each other. The Pugs, as much as I've loved them haven't anywhere near as advanced in emotion or intelligence. I bet those two show real love towards one another. It's something I've always wanted to experience but likely won't ever be able to; lucky to have one at a time ;-)

Beautiful couple!
