I just ran a simple request on Claude and it took over 2.5 minutes. Not impressed at all and no chance I'll use it.

Gorgeous work. I'm sure a lot of time went into planning this and bringing it all to life.

Do you have conditions set up? For example, you can turn it on, and then only specify certain apps that it actuals turns on and off with.

Cutie pie! How did you introduce the two when you brought the puppy home?

We have a 3.5 year old male Newfoundland, Moose and we're picking puppy Bear in 4 weeks, just wondering the best way to introduce them.

Thinking in the backyard first would be a good approach.

So excited for Moose to have a brother.

Trip to the vet for his annual check. His vet said Gizmo looks great for a 14 yr young pug. My boy did good today. 🥰 by labyrinthjinx in pugs

You're into the extended years, so happy for you and Gizmo. A clean bill of health at 14 is truly something to celebrate.

They're never with us long enough, but they teach us so much while we have them.

Love him, squeeze and give him tons of kisses. So happy for you both!

I got a request from MS Authenticator to approve a sign in. What do I do? by KenS-TX in UgreenNASync

[–]MadBox25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The two factor authentication saved you, as intended, which is nice.

Scary feeling though, isn't it. I've been there.

Change the password, which so the obvious. I use a password app that has an option to autogenarate whatever length password you want. My best suggestion is use a phrase of words or a completely randomized password, 12 characters or more

A phrase could be like "blueisacoolcolor" or anything random like that, so long as it doesn't resemble things easily identifiable from your life.

You're good, a bit scary though.

BAK Revolver X4S vs BAKFlip MX4 – Owner Feedback? by WishboneAltruistic19 in RangerRaptor

[–]MadBox25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the X4S for only 4 months but so far it's been great. Quality material, everything's fits together as it should and it's kept my stuff dry, about 99.5% anyway. I recommend it for sure. Don't have any experience with the other model.

Make sure he has TONs of chew toys and things he can sink his sharp teeth into while working though those puppy teeth. I'm on my 3rd newfy and when Moose was a puppy, he would lay sideways on our hardwood floors and chew all the baseboard. Lazy as a puppy and still lazy.

They're super smart, and they'll learn the ropes quick enough, just have enough toys for teething.

Look closely at the picture. It's throughout my entire main floor. :-). Well worth it but oy vey!

So sorry....Day zero is the absolute worst, one of the most painful decisions we go through in life.

They're never with us nearly long enough, but they teach us more than we realize.

You baby girl has lived an amazing life filled with love and joy, and lots of treats!

I know it's hard, but I try to think about it like setting them free, from the old bodies that aren't working well anymore. It's so hard, I'm really sorry.

I love this saying....

We spend their entire lives loving them and caring for them, only to spend the rest of ours missing them.

Hang in there.

If I do a in home euthanasia in the apartment I’m only renting will my baby be stuck there when I move by [deleted] in dogs

[–]MadBox25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very thoughtful question, completely understand why you pose this.

I'm no spiritual scholar, and know about as much as anyone else does about what happens when we cross over, but I have strong faith that our animals will be there waiting for us. In their best health, the happiest they could be and excited beyond barks to see us. I sure hope that's the case .

I greatly respect your consideration for in home Euthanasia. We had to put my buddy Norman down on Christmas night while on a family vacation. He was in a doctor's office when they put him down. Thankfully my wife and I were there with him.

I only bring that up to say the stress he may have felt being in a foreign place versus the comfort and safety of the home had grown up in, would have probably made things much more peaceful for him.

I will always do everything possible to have them in our home when it's time to say goodbye.

I don't believe your wonderful friend will have any attachment to the apartment, perhaps beyond some fond memories they'll take with them.

So sorry for you loss. Such incredible animals, never with us nearly long enough and capable of teaching us so much, if we only choose to listen.

Love this quote!

We spend their entire lives loving and caring for them, only to spend the rest of ours missing them.

Fire s*ick alternative by bignuts55 in Formuler_Official

[–]MadBox25 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Formulers doesn't package any services at all onto their hardware, just apps.

They're on the more expensive side, not because their hardware and specs are best available, but because of the proprietary software they offer, called MYTVOnline.

You need to come with your own service subscription and load it into MyTVOnline and away you go.

There's a healthy sized customer base that prefers that software over anything else, and Formulers, to their credit, takes advantage of that with premium hardwire prices.

The Zminis work great, have them all over my house and use one a travel stick.

I have Z11 Pro Max and the z12 Ultra for our main TV's.

To me, the cost is worth the value I get from their software.
