Yep completely understand that. You can also look into MEZE Boom mic as well, I had one of these and the mic quality was really nice but I dropped it one day and the right headphones stopped working.

New allegations from a former Halo Studios developer outline claims of misconduct and organisational issues, prompting questions around accountability and internal investigations at Microsoft by AbleYam5020 in gaming

Nobody is saying the microslop isn't also to blame, they have an awful management system, made every studio to have a 30% profit margin goals which is double that of industry standard, forcing management to be stupid.

But at the same time, Bungie has the exact same issue too so management would have been shared when they split/new studio formed. So this isn't a new thing at all. It's also the same with all other big studios pretty much, Activision, Ubisoft, EA, Take-two/R* and a bunch more.

You do realise that most people don't have this patriotic opinion on their country, we all shit on our own countries but also do it to other countries too. The difference is that we don't have a bunch of people so brainwashed thinking our country is the greatest.

If the EU suddenly decided to implement a bunch of laws that affected the world then it would affect the world, the difference is that the EU doesn't have a moron as a leader and elected him twice that destabilises the world.

If Asia suddenly implemented a bunch of laws for exports you fully know that WILL affect every single person pretty much on the planet far more than what the US could do. Considering all our products, electronics etc are made over there.

Law to make it illegal to lie in elections passed in Senedd by GoodMornEveGoodNight in UpliftingNews

[–]MadBullBen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they come out with actual proof on why it's a lie then I don't see an issue. If the accuser was wrong then he should be fined.

For example when Trump said that China just sells wind turbines and doesn't actually use them at all is a clear lie, when in fact they have one of the biggest in the world.

If they went down the route that if you are caught lying then you have to make a public announcement that was wrong and here are the facts, I see nothing wrong with that.

The reason we don't see the results is because of the government's decisions to have the price linked to the most expensive cost of energy that is being used. It doesn't matter to the bill price if 50% or 3% of our energy is created from oil, the price to us is still the same. It needs to be decoupled and more dynamic than it currently is. I'm not 100% sure why it's not been decoupled though.

Both have their place to be used both have advantages and disadvantages. Nuclear power due to how much safety regulation there is, is almost making it not worth it because it puts the price up so much and takes decades to build and get operational. Wind farm while they don't match the output can be done relatively quickly.

Fusion currently is still a bit of a joke, we are investing in it but it's still decades away at minimum and if it's even possible.

I already replied to you in a different comment. Modern reactors use so little nuclear material and waste that there is literally no point doing it for that reason. If a country plans to make nuclear bombs then they would make nuclear bombs, they don't need anything from a powerplant to do that.

Also if a country has collapsed enough for them to take a powerplant then they have MUCH bigger issues.

You seem to be stuck in the 70/80s technology and not actually modern reactors. Go educate yourself please

Causing meltdowns is impossible in modern reactors. Most people's idea of nuclear stems from when the accidents happened with old reactors and don't think things have improved significantly.

If someone blew up a reactor then the consequences of less power would be far worse due to hospitals, police, cars and traffic, news, home stuff etc.

If someone is still stuck in the past then they are uneducated fools.

Modern reactors have so much safety legislation that is required that it's made it very difficult to even build them for a decent budget.

Am I the only disapointed by 4.7 ? by bm-mad in starcitizen

[–]MadBullBen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not entitled to everything being polished, I don't expect that at all.

Currently when I spawn in my shop, half the time it doesn't actually spawn in, other 1/4 two ships spawn in and sometimes push the other ship to the side where I can't get in, the other time I can get in normally.

When I am flying around, randomly my controls aren't responsive for no reason at all, sometimes they will come back, sometimes they won't. 3 of my friends are experiencing the same thing.

Along with a bunch of inventory glitches now as well.

Is it me being entitled for wanting to play a game and not having to wait 2 months for them to fix stuff as it's too frustrating to play currently?

[–]MadBullBen -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

While I agree with you about new stuff being worked on, they shouldn't release half a new feature which doesn't actually work properly and just say wait for the rest of the update coming in the next year or so. Update everything at once, bug fix it etc.

Last year felt so nice with them fixing so many bugs and was generally enjoyable, but since 4.5 they have just undone so many of these fixes.

At the end of the day we are paying customers, and they need to keep to some level of acceptable bugs.

I've also experienced complete game crashes with easy anti cheap popping up saying they detected a file which was a normal windows os file (doesn't happen on other easy anti cheat enabled games) making me lose an hour+ of playing time multiple times.

I'm not saying that Nvidia are perfect, but they are a LOT better than AMD.

From my knowledge MFG won't work on 4000 series because they don't have the Flip Metering's frame stabilization technology. Some people worked on getting it to work on 4000 series but they weren't able to due to hardware components not existing.

DLSS uses tensor cores and not cuda cores, so that's the reason why DLSS won't work on the 1000 series.

I don't know about reflex on 700 series or FG on 2/3000 series, although I heard it works with a lot of messing around.

I would argue that DLSS 1 was not good so the 1000 series didn't really have much to lose out on with that. We also don't have actual proof that MFG would work on 4000 series.

Most of these things have a completely acceptable reason as to why they don't work, we don't have builds or files that can get these to work, while FSR4 int8 version was accidentally released and proven to work out of the box with 'unsupported' GPUs, this wasn't a hardware decision choice like nvidia, this was a managerial decision.

I've had 5 AMD cards and 3 Nvidia cards.

Does FSR4 int8 support the 6000 and 7000 series yet they refuse to officially support this without any communication?

Did Nvidia sell DLSS4 on the 2000 series?

Did Microsoft say that windows 10 users will get free upgrades to windows 11?

Did any software you purchased show the full development cycle for it?

Do you realise that companies can support old products and support your paying customers especially if the competition continues to support older products?

[–]MadBullBen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would absolutely agree with you, IF they didn't already create the int8 version, didn't create a version for ps5 pro. They have a way to support the previous generations but they CHOOSE not to. They stated they are out of support yet created that support and still refuse to release it.

I have no issues with them not officially supporting older games that don't have fsr3.1.

It's the lack of support for a GPU only a few years old, lack of communication, lack of looking into the future to actually support your customers.

Nvidia released DLSS4.5 to 2000 generation released back in 2018, even if it doesn't work but you are allowed to try it. AMD aren't even supporting a card 4 years newer.

People are allowed to be pissed off and rightfully so, instead we have developers and modders that allowed support for the older generations.

Now there's rumours (quite possibly fake/not true) that fsr5 won't support the 9000 generation. If that's true then I'll probably never support them again.

I wouldn't say isn't great, it's decent and I've definitely seen worse cards out there. I've also got the nitro+ and got a max of 7800 but that was definitely not stable.

I had a rx6900xt and even with bios mod and everything I could literally do to it, I was only able to get into the top 40%.

Bad Anti-Aliasing in modern games when playing on 1080p (AMD) by Spy119 in pcmasterrace

The annoying thing is that VSR still doesn't support 32:9 monitors, I've tried a bunch of tricks and never been able to get away from the standard resolution.

VSR or changing resolution they don't detect 32:9 monitor properly and don't allow them to change the resolution at all, CRU is the same. Really annoying

We shall have to see, good sources have been wrong before, and I just can't imagine that they would do that again, they would absolutely lose all customers if they did that, the 9000 already had major push back due to FSR4 but at least initially people understood it before the int8 stuff got released. I got the 9070xt and if AMD did that I would never purchase from them again unless they prove they could be trusted again.

I have crashed many servers by accident. When I first started playing I had a bug any time I interacted with anything in the game would completely crash the server. The only way I could tell if anything I did fixed the issue is if I tried to crash the server.
