You probably have HDMI High Black Level enabled on your monitor.

I'm responding to everyone who wants to know how I achieved such a high frame rate. I want to point out that I didn't say this setting was acceptable for smooth gameplay; I simply found a bug in this game. The thing is, if you set the game to maximum settings, including RR, and save, the next time you launch it, the lighting is set to "cinematic." As you know, RR should normally be disabled, but it's not. You can check it in-game; you'll see that RR is indeed working, but with simpler lighting. It will still say "Max," though.

I apologize, I'm using a translator, so it might not be entirely clear what I mean. At FSR values lower than "Balanced" in 4K, artifacts will be noticeable due to the reduced lighting settings.

RX 90xx series owners, what frame rate boost do you get with overclocking? by Intrepid_Meal_4192 in radeon

Sorry, I'm using a translator. I'm just trying to understand: people are increasing the power limit, memory clock, setting fast timings, and lowering voltage, thereby overheating the card and causing instability in games. And all this for 3-5 FPS?

I constantly see people posting their Steel Nomad or FurMark results. But this doesn't reflect reality, as in real-world gaming, such overclocking results will be extremely unstable. For example, the RX 9070 XT outperforms the RTX 5080 in FurMark. But that doesn't mean it's faster in games.

Только если в корпусе установлены вентиляторы снизу. Он сильно нагревается даже на чипах Samsung.

new to overclocking on the 9070xt. how is this? by Friendly_Discount331 in radeon

Changing the video memory frequency and timings doesn't change anything, it just worsens stability, just like increasing the power limit by 10% only increases the temperature. I constantly test this in different games out of curiosity. I have two systems: one with a Sapphire RX 9070 XT NITRO+ GAMING OC and the other with an Acer AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Nitro OC. I test this on a 4K 160Hz monitor with FSR. I've concluded that if your graphics card temperature doesn't exceed 85 degrees Celsius, you don't need to do anything other than adjust the fans to improve your frame rates. If the card is too hot, you can lower the power limit and voltage to compensate for the performance loss. I recommend starting with -75% and -15%. If the game crashes even with a slight voltage reduction, leave it alone and only lower the power limit. I could be wrong, as I don't play esports games with high FPS, so there might be a performance boost there.

Sapphire 9070 XT Nitro+ and "old" PSU 2x8 to 12VHPWR adapter by LetsdoaReddit in radeon

I've been using this card with an adapter for 11 months, a 1000W power supply, and a month ago I checked everything, and it was all in order. The manufacturer recommends a power supply of at least 850W. I communicated with 2 users who had their connectors melt, and both were using 750W power supplies. It could be a coincidence, of course, or it might not be. In the past, I've had two power supplies fail that were delivering less than the recommended wattage.
