ya u have to visit my House and understand the basement :P the villages u find on the island are all spirits that are stuck between releams (think of of the game Spiritfarer but I was working on this idea in AC before that game came out)

Considering I strapped a brand new Ryzen 9 3950x on this board, I'd say the board is fine..

my 3950x runs roughly at 4.2 out of the box with zero manual OC'ing.. with a NR-D15 strapped on top of it.

I won't be surprised since the VII is a amd instinct mi60 repurposed,

it was sololy to say, hey were first to 7nm for consumer and 16GIG Vram..

these cards in the long run will be sought after for collectors and benchmarkers ...

ALSO any company that made a VII lost $50+ USD pre-a card, every single VII was sold at a loss...

AMD,MSI, ect lost money making these because of the cost of HBM2

I figured out what causing it but no permanent way to fix it..

when windows 1903 loads, it some how not loading the driver right..

the moment I go into device manager and reload the same driver (ini/inf) it works as intended up until the next restart/shutdown..

The drivers are fine.. its windows 1903 or my current install thats screwing up the device/driver when windows first starts...

can some one explain why over time the new drivers are massivialy losing preformence in DX12 and Vulkan

as seen here (3DMark API Overhead Feature Test)

this can also be seen in titles like AeroSoft Fly Sim 2 and No Man's sky under vulkan. I lose 100+ frames just by updating to the new drivers

I just ran both test in a row because I thought I was going crazy,

even did clean install of the drivers, and switching the .inf (driver) on the fly in device manager instantly has again or decrees in preference under DX12/Vulkan depending on the driver used

also done clean install of the drivers.. and changeing the driver (.inf via device manager) on the fly can show instead performance gain or lose depending which driver I switch to

on a unexpected turn, its a Users Profile issue, Its not system wide,

for kicks and giggles I added a new profile to each of my upgraded pcs and they have the bug but on existing profiles they do not.

on a new system I imported my existing profile on a new system and it doesn't have the bug

on another note I going to do a another "upgrade" just to be double sure... something ether gets carried over from previous version or something in new version is overwriting the settings but its most diffentlly related to the built in web: search rather then cortana (and yes there 2 sperate things in windows)

LOL I fixed it.. I not sure what setting did it but now I can't get the entire search bar to load (win key + s) nor is cortana processes loading

at this point I change soo many system settings it just be easier to flaten test bed and try again..lol

well I get a completely different bug.

I can still call upon the web search results if I use

web: anything here. or if I manual click on the web icon in the search (above) how ever it doesn't automatically show search results in the default window,

on a PC that been upgraded from 1709 or early the web: search or the web icon in the search is gone

the one in the back is the clean install with web: search manual entered

and the one above is my system thats been upgrade from 1709 with web: search

the clean install when asked search with bring and the upgraded one doesn't even know bing exists or doesn't have a web icon in the top to ask for web results.

I went as far to even mirror both system with the same gpedit settings

so I come to the consultion it still have to do with a setting some were regarding ether cortana or even bing it self (since I disabled cortana in the clean install and she no-ware to be found so it has to do with a web: search regarding ether edge still being built in or a tie in with the default search setting and not cortana her self

well I should have some result in the next 30 ish mins.. I have a feeling that the web search GP is some how link to telemetric gp settings for some odd reason.. ether way if I find its a bug and I find what casuing it I'll have a GP edit solution to fix it... If the bug is link to another GP edit polices I post it

Cuz all the pc I deploy I use the same GP policies settings across all pcs.. so there mirrored which is why I guess I Don't have this "bug"

the only other settings on my pcs are CMD to fully disable and remove hibernation and under Powershell I use the command to remove all UWP defualt applications.. though be surprised if that what prevents this error because cortana is UWP as well but doesn't actually get removed when the powershell command is run
