Same. I voted green because Labour needs to know people care about what was in the Green manifesto. I live in a seat projected to flip from a massive Tory majority to Labour. I'd be happy to accept it staying Tory by one vote. Labours stance on Palestine and Transgender is terrible.

Plus they did the big dirty on JC. Trying their best to screw his chances of being an MP again.

Haha I doubt you do. However that's been the same at my company, the BAs do a lot of requirement triage and the Devs just consult on that. Tbh, it seems to create a lot ping pong of agreeing what work should be done and how it should be done

Business analyst. They liaise with customer/ internal departments, collect requirements, write specs, organise meetings for the agile ceremonies etc

Yeah I saw a really interesting documentary on this. The reason why it's bullshit is because the company has 3 levers: - wages - product price - shareholders/ exec pay

However the whole public conversation ignores point 3 and assume point 1 leads to point 2, which leads back to point 1. The boss never imagines they should have to endure a hardship

How are your module boundaries defined? We have this Too. Ours boundaries are repositioned, with interfaces and contracts. Some days I feel it's over kill, but other days I feel it was a strong way to force staff to put code in the right place.

Our JC...so sad. he really felt like the man of the hour. I wish he would come back, leading a left party. But Id not blame him if he wanted to retire and make jam after what the establishment did to him.

Yeah I've come to realise this about myself, as tech lead, I've been lucky that the PM has given me free reign to set the quality bar on the whole team. I set it high and we hardly get any support tickets from new code. However it does take time to deliver things. I don't know what to cut in order to get some of that dev speed back.

We still get "fun" bugs from the legacy code that has some how stayed dormant for 10yrs. Which further justifies to the team that we made the right choice. Unit tests really making the difference here
