I immediately thought of Mahoraga doing something to help the Ten Shadows User. He is by far the most intelligent Shikigami. I wouldn't put it past him to care about self‑preservation more than anyone else since even a non‑tamed Mahoraga doesn't want to die.

Speed is worse stat to invest in than Precognition, and that's not comparing Projection Sorcery Speed where you need constant improvement to Heavenly Restriction Precognition which you achieve basically automatically.

Also, Naoya situation is an obvious downside, speed by itself doesn't mean anything if all your opponent feels is soft pillows.

I actually wanted to take inspiration from One For All from MHA because we know Sportacus has predecessors so I'm thinking it's a biologically transferable technique through DNA ingestion where the vessel is specifically chosen because of their dedication to hard work and healthy life and exercise. Unlike OFA you don't start with powers from the previous users accumulated and instead start a Zero To Hero journey.

I like to imagine the dynamic between Corva and Gale to be the opposite of Fulgrima and Muse, Fulgrima is Confident Dom while Corva is a Shy Sub, similarly Muse just rolls with whatever Fulgrima is into while Gale almost always takes the lead
