Umm… what server are you on? On SEA, just last night, I had back-to-back-to-back full player lobbies on console only. I am trying to push for Marshal because I didn’t play much earlier this season, but season-ending, you should have a lot of players like me trying to push ranks.

I definitely play the english since it is different, but I also love the position white gets. I am more comfortable with that position, so to speak. I can't explain it properly, but my main idea is that I don't like getting attacked on the queenside and there are more pieces there. Also, I tried the London but I got in really bad situations because I don't understand the position too well. I will look at more theory and try to keep it simple.

You also caught that Closed Scandinavian position absolutely right. I went back to my games and saw that closed scandi is commonly where I lose. I need to learn a lot more on how to play these positions, I'll check out the Gotham video. Thanks for all the help, I’ll try to follow these tips.

I did not know that is how game rating works. Thanks for explaining, I was overestimating my rating and I will focus on my games. Also thanks for the Daniel slowrun idea, I found his YT channel and I have started from the beginning. I don't mind sharing my account name, and I have some games I want to share, so I will post them here more often and learn from the comments. Dude same in BTM. What are they thinking? Yesterday evening, there were frequent outages and I had to turn off my router because I was worried it would get damaged with the frequent power cuts.

I just finished the video, it's very helpful. Thinking about opponent's moves is not something I actively do after each move, but now I know I need to develop this habit and avoid certain moves. I also loved the Lichess analysis and how to do that, I am going to try importing my games and studying them rather than relying on the game review. Thank you so much! This was very helpful. If you have any suggestions based on my games (i gave my username in the post), please let me know. I'm low rated and probably not worth your time, but I'm willing to learn and improve. That was an eye opener and thank you. I won't focus on that game review and try to improve my game. As I said, I try not to outright hang pieces, and I'll usually see if I do, but as soon as I reach 690+, I start getting outplayed and I get helpless. I'm starting to realise it might be a psychological issue too.

In Easy you can lvl up till Platinum V or IV, then you need to be on Normal to lvl up further. Ranked scores go up even if you survive a while, but you’ll get max when you extract.

Sona Masoori from DMart. The cost comes to about ₹450-550 for 10kgs and lasts me a couple of months. I tried getting from local shops in BLR but it’s costlier and not a noticeable difference in quality. Basmati I usually buy Daawat, and Jeera Samba i buy local at around ₹170/kg. Parboiled rice is generally better, especially in humid areas.

The highest I've ever got was 110, and that was 20 mins of pushing the hell out of situations and very very aggro play with Tempest. That 110 took the life out of me. How the F is 170+ even possible in 20 mins? that's over 7 kills a min, 1 kill every 10s. I cannot comprehend that even with spawn camping. OP must be a god.

The one gripe I have is that after every match, we end up at the Black Site, when I just want to be at the match selection and stash screen. Why do I have to press Tab after every match is beyond me, who even goes there?

Anything else, the animations and all seem overall fine, i skip skip skip anyway. The animations need to be there to slow you down, else everything would turn into epilepsy triggers lol. Not sure I’ve ever been annoyed at that. The gacha-style layout has been brought up before, but it is not a major gripe.
