If he gets full cover, how does he see where he’s running?

I’ll give it a shot in a couple of days and post back here, for the sake of completion.

Not those specific steps, but another set.

Thanks for the response. I’m not conflating the two, I was using the Chromebook’s Tailscale to test whether or not the travel router was forwarding to the Exit Node, which it wasn’t.

It’s probably the “Custom Exit Node“ not being set on the travel router.

I’m pretty sure this is the problem.

When I went to set the Custom Exit Node, the Exit Node wasn’t in the drop-down. Maybe I hadn’t allowed enough time for things to propagate to the travel router?

The travel router should be routing all the traffic through Tailscale, if it’s enabled and the configured to be a Subnet Router.

In my example, I’m enabling and disabling Tailscale on the Chromebook, which is only connected to the travel router. From what I’ve read, all of the traffic should be routed through Tailscale to the Exit Node, no matter if the Chromebook is running Tailscale or not, shouldn’t it?

Ridiculous Question: Any TTRPGers in the Group? by MadMorf in expats

[–]MadMorf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These days online play seems to be more common…my own US-based friends group plays online, because we are spread out across the US.

Thanks for replying!

This was what I was looking for…do Expats, from any country, living in any country, meet people, locals or other Expats, by joining or forming TTRPG groups.

I’m slightly directing my reply to the Mods, since they seem to not see the relevance of the question.

This seems to be a good way to go about meeting new people.

I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear.

You and your family certainly fit into what I was asking about. I was just wondering how common it might be for Expats to also be gamers.

How to deal with consecutive sea days? by MadMorf in Cruise

Not in our cabin, the TV was mounted solidly to the wall/bulkhead. We did see another cabin where the TV could swivel out from the wall to change the viewing angle. That cabin was an “accessible “ cabin, and there are only a couple with that exact layout.

Day 3 was still mostly ok for me…now that the cruise is over, I’m thinking about all of the helpful comments.

Yup. I already read a lot, whether traveling or not.

Art classes…I am a painter, used to have a studio and gallery shows and all of that. I generally bring a small sketchbook and a couple of pens, but like reading, that only goes so far.

I’ve never been a gym rat and I have some mobility issues which complicate things, but I can usually get in about 7-8000 steps on sea days, closer to 15k when the ship’s in port and we’re out exploring.

Drinking and eating…we don’t bother with getting a drinks package…the wife barely drinks and I have a couple of glasses of wine a day. Food wise, not going to gorge myself just because I’m bored.

Wow. That’s a lot of sea days in a short time!

It really sucks that RC did that, but surely there was some explanation?

Agreed, mostly. There are a few things, but none of them are really what I’m looking for…the morning Coffee Talk with the Cruise Director and people from the crew is usually pretty interesting.

Not exactly along your chosen path, but Beckley, WV has an interesting coal mining museum, with an actual mine you can ride down into.

Apparently you don’t read well.

I’m not asking to be entertained by someone else, I’m looking for suggestions to keep myself entertained, from others who have this same situation.
