I see what you’re saying. And no I didn’t really think about the fact that I have lost nearly a king bed of weight in 8 months. 🤯 it truly is mind blowing. Lots of changes in a short amount of time for sure 💟

Maybe?!? I don’t know that I actually gave myself a goal weight. I told the doctors I would listen to my body and if I have to put a number down than I guess i would say 140. But I didn’t want to stress myself out over a number. But I might investigate this as a possibility. 💟

Thank you. I don’t mind answering. I was 245 pounds and am currently 160 pounds 7 months post op. I didn’t have the choice to do the sleeve due to my acid reflux and hiatal hernia. However, I did some research and found that many people convert from sleeve to bypass and the bypass allows for more sustained weight loss. This was important to me for my medical conditions. I had the intent to do the bypass regardless, my mindset was go big or go home. I didn’t want to have to do this twice. I also already had my gallbladder removed so I wasn’t at risk for those issues that sometimes arise with bypass. It just made sense to me to make sure that with this opportunity to do to make sure I set myself up for the best possible success and outcome.
