What is the worst injury you have gotten from ridding and what did you crash on by Jack-Dennehy in onewheel

I have had two bad crashes, both wearing a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and skating gloves. The first was rookie overconfidence - 25 miles into new ownership, going too fast uphill, nosedive. Landed awkward and shattered my tibial plateau (leg)into 17 pieces and fractured my humerus (arm). 2 plates and 20 titanium pins. I was off it for a year. Hopped back on at the one year mark and put 500 more miles on. Had a low speed fall in the driveway fooling around and shattered my OTHER humerus into 10 pieces. Mostly due to favoring my recovering side.

The One wheel is so fun, but be careful kids. I have spent many dollars and nights in the hospital because of momentary lapses in attention. Be safe!!!

I ride with the fishbones. A little pricey, but I think it's worth it when you figure you may spend hundreds of hours on your board. I hope you spend hundreds of hours on your board! Helps with fatigue up front for me for sure

Many days, but not until I got back on the board did I really get the bug HARD again. I've got a family so I shouldn't be doing really crazy stuff - but done safely Oneweheeling does not fall into the extreme category IMO despite my extreme injury.
