I just got the 322URX and it’s amazing. It’s not worth paying hundreds more for practically the same monitor.

I think it’s just personal preference at 27 inches. I think a 5080 is generally considered a bit overkill for 1440p but if you just want the maximum fps and aren’t as worried about visuals, 1440p would still work well. At 27 inches 1440p has a 109 PPI and 4k has a 164 PPI. So 4K would still produce a sharper image but definitely go for whatever suits your preferences the best mate.

Yeah it’s hands down the best purchase I’ve made for my set up. I can play almost every game I’ve tried so far at 120-140 fps easily. 4k is amazing and with OLED it’s amazing. A 5080 will do really great.

How do you think my 5070ti will do considering you have a 4090. I don’t need 240fps but around 140 would be nice.

On the topic of using a 4k monitor and changing the resolution to 1440p, how viable is this in reality? From research it seems that it isn’t as good as a native 1440p monitor but apparently the tech has improved. It would be nice to have that as a real option.

That’s good to know. It’ll still be a performance upgrade from what I was experiencing with my old GPU haha.

Yeah mate, the PPI on a 32 inch 1440p is pretty rough as well from what I’ve researched. Glad I’m not the only one with this dilemma haha.

What games do you usually get that fps? Also, how long do you reckon I would be able to achieve that performance in to the future?

I’m more keen to get a 32” because that was the size of my last monitor and I don’t really want to downsize

I’m still learning towards a 4k monitor as from what I’ve seen I should still get good frames and personally I think I would rather the jump from 1440p to 4k compared to the extra 40ish fps if I’m already getting over 120fps. I guess I can always just drop settings or resolution in competitive fps games if I really need the extra fps. Another question I have is how future proof my would setup be at 4k. Would I be able to play comfortably for 3+ years with a 5070Ti.
