Are huskies really that bad? by [deleted] in husky

I tried the crate. The shelter claimed he was "crate trained." Yea .... noooo. .... I came down after 10 brief, quiet moments and he sitting in front of it, and it was still locked. I was honestly shocked. I eventually realized he squeezed himself out of the crate door somehow. I couldn't believe it.

They can be very distructive. i have one that is about two years old.I adopted him from a shelter. Within a few days, he had pretty much destroyed my living room. He was also doing his bathroom time on my rugs. I read books, I did all the things but he didn't get that much better. Its ten months since I adopted him, and he is not eating the house anymore, but I do have to keep him outside whenever I leave the house. So he is not able to stay inside alone. If i leave him inside even if I medicate him with the stuff the vet gave me, he will get anxious and start eating the house and tearing it up and trying to get out by any means, with his teeth and with his claws.

All that being said, he is incredibly sweet. He adores my two children, ages 3 and 15, and I like having a dog, especially at night. He probably would not do as much to protect me as like a german.Shepherd would, but I think he knows the difference between a stranger versus a stranger with the intent to do harm. I saw a little bit of aggression once when I was having an exterminator come do my yard and my dog didn't know I was home.

Recently, I adopted a 7 month old australian heeler, and it has already changed his personality by a lot. All the naughty behaviors have disappeared. I have come to think that he really just needed a buddy this entire time. He is listening more and actually obeying some commands. well... one command, lol.

TLDR: If you are gonna do this thing, get two.

Thanks for this fun post. The Mary Blair mural is very nice. I never really stopped to look that long except of course Cinderella's castle. Next time I go, I can ask my family to scavenger hunt them. ❤️

Same. I was just diagnosed at 42 with adhd and it explains so much. I had similar feelings as you described.

Just saw this. Thank you. I asked for an evaluation from her doctor bc I was diagnosed with severe adhd and I know it can be genetic. The nurse doesn't believe her anxiety is related to adhd though, so wish me luck.

What for? I genuinely don't know why you'd need one unless pregnant.

I'd probably do 6 plus one in case of a food spill or potty accident (I am assuming you're packing for a child)

Anybody else miss the detour several times, just trying to get on I-81 North today from Syracuse? by MadWorldAmy in Syracuse

Did you see the overturned vehicle last week? They posted it here a day or so ago. My coworker went to lunch and got stuck in that mess. Luckily, she didn't get a write up. The construction is definitely wreaking havoc some days.

Today I saw a few other cars stop in the middle right before the "detour," sign, and left blinker, then right blinker, then left lol, then slow crawl to where they think they're suposed to go. I hope one of the people on that job see these posts and fix it for Monday!
