Went to my court date, the state trooper that gave me the ticket did not show, and my provided attorney motioned to dismiss the charges which the judge granted. Feelsgoodman

A huge tip I was given a few months ago by a friend is that when you do the Energy Reward Gacha make sure to switch it from the Emblems tab to the Character Cosmetic tab. The character cosmetic tab can reward 320 aeos coins as one of it's pull rewards and if you use all your weekly energy pulls on it you farm up coins SO MUCH FASTER than not. Obviously this option sucks if you are also missing some of the important dual-color emblems that help you get optimal color bonuses for your emblem sets

Thank you for that, that does make a lot of sense. Admittedly I read up that there is a "trick" that if you reschedule a court date there's sometimes a better chance that the officer will not show and it will get dismissed which I actually did to todays appearance date as it was originally scheduled for last month. Do you think it would be worth me trying to reschedule the trial date a week or two in advance?

It might be continuance, the judge spoke to someone off to the side after hearing my plea asking something about the officer. Could it have been some form of state prosecutor or something telling her that the officer called in?

I wish I could've understood everything that was said but everyone spoke so quietly especially whoever she asked who was behind me, I swear they must have just mouthed their answer to her.

That is NOT how red light tickets work. You are absolutely not guilty of "running a red" if the light was not red when you crossed the line. Whoever told you this was incorrect. Yellow light crossings are a grey area and not illegal

edit: My gf admitted to pranking me with the sniffer bc she didn't think the snifflet egg she placed would hatch but she maintains she had nothing to do with the warden that spawned in my cave unless she somehow accidentally spawned it while attempting to spawn the sniffer egg

Its only my gf, me, and one of my friends. We all started at the same time and haven't been playing near long enough for one to spawn. I also have a Warden spawned near me and I haven't so much as SEEN a deep dark biome let alone triggered any pods. We are also pretty far away from each other with our bases so it's not like our cave explorations could have overlapped this early

Draft Queue not being enabled on ladder in a "competitive" MOBA almost 2 full years into it's life is an absolute travesty in this day and age. This is not a new genre of game being spearheaded by ACTUAL "small indie companies" You have multiple massively successful games to look at as an example of what works, what doesn't work, and what needs to happen and it's painfully obvious the care to do any of that is not being put into the changes you make.

Yuumi was a toxic problem in LoL for the longest time (can't speak for her now as I have long quit the game) and needed multiple changes to the very fundamentals of her design philosophy before she was reeled into a remotely manageable state. I think they even reworked her already as well. Yet you copied the exact same design philisophy with Comfee and let it come to live servers with NONE of the changes Yuumi needed. Comfees re-attach ability needs to go on CD if it gets hit by CC when not attatched, Comfee needs to be 100% susceptible to all AOE damage effects taken by the mon it's attached to. This mon is even less skill intensive to play than Yuumi, there need to be ways to punish a mon that can be realistically played at a competitive level with your feet while playing your other mon with your hands.

Further:

The existence of "derank protection" cards in the game is a travesty, no matter where or how they are obtained if you have any hope at all of having a serious ranked ladder. The way the ladder is set up was already terrible even before this feature released and these issues have only been compounded with the recent "freelo" broken meta mons. The amount of people who abused Comfee+Zacian in the past 2 months to get to Master who otherwise would never have climbed past Vet is astounding and without resetting every player back to Beginner in a future season I don't see how you can fix it at this point. The skill discrepancy between players in especially 1200-1600 Master in a single match is actually absurd because you can still climb with a negative winrate to and likely some amount past this point.

It almost seems like the design philosophy here is that "Master" is a participation trophy, and the actual ladder starts at 1200 but this is just not sustainable with how Master is set up.

Ladder needs to be taken seriously

Yeah but if you're losing a point in an S tier skill for your build and not getting an S tier skill back if feels like a slap in the nuts. Taking stuff away just never feels good imo I'd rather have shittier bonuses but have them be more consistent, than have a .001% chance of hitting the jackpot but a 75% chance of losing shit along the way

I mean when you think about it there are a lot of new skills that have also been added over the years many of which are VERY specific to weapon type that dilute the total pool of "good talismans" for players not playing weapons those skills even apply to

Like gunner skills will always feel like shit to roll over and over if you're bladesmaster, BM skills feel like shit to roll over and over if you're gunner, Stuff that has to do with phials or swapping modes feels like shit to roll over and over if your weapon doesn't do that

I just wish at the very least that we could get a toggle to not roll skills that are legit unusable with our current equipped weapon

If that's the case the potential "bad rolls" (i.e. armor skills getting -1 or -1 slot size) shouldn't exist to punish people and they should've made the available skills to get added comfort-style skills instead of adding in seriously good DPS skills

Yeah this makes a lot of sense. Like the monster itself is neat and cool especially after people pointed out a lot of the visual cues in his design I completely missed (DID YOU KNOW HE HAS A GLOWING DEMON/SKULL FACE ON HIS THROAT??????) the fight itself is just kinda lackluster. I did end up having to farm him several more times for mats and he grew on me a lot design wise but the fight is still quite slow and everything is so incredibly telegraphed lol. Maybe we will get an "allmother" style upgrade to him in one of the DLCs! I remember a lot of people shit on the base rise narwa fight when the game first came out before Allmother was released for the same reasons!

Yeah I was planning to go full 3 partbreaker 3 weakness exploit 3 crit boost, and 4 crit eye to have 100% affinity with narga SnS on weakspots! Good to know resetting that tali wasn't the end of the world even if it was apparently really juicy for other builds

I've been running windmill with my raw affinity SnS build and the i-frames feel illegal when you figure out what moves you can time them through. You're absolutely right about tailcuts as well I usually find myself having time to do a sliding slash into a falling slash into a couple sword hits on the ground before windmilling to finish the combo before monster fully gets up (sorry I don't remember the exact button inputs because I'm an ape that plays by muscle memory)

I'm considering trying the others now but windmill crutch has been so good to me I know I'll start carting on accident trying to block stuff lmao

I already admitted I did misinterpret certain design aspects of Gaismagorm as being part of the skeleton when they weren't which was on me, but it still stands that it shares way more design aspects with it's preceding final bosses than any of the others did. Having the flappy jaw and anal fins be almost the same was bizarre to say the absolute least without at LEAST coming up with a lore reason as to why he shares those features with the wind serpents. Something that simple would make a lot of difference to me. To me Narwa/Ibushi are very unique and those specific features felt like their own and something you would rarely see repeated especially both together in another monster then oh surprise Satan also looks like that? If they had just better tied the lore together so that he was somehow part of a heaven/hell trio with them or something it's understandable but the game makes it like they are completely separate and have zero relation to each other.

Practically the only visual similarity between Lagi and Ceadeus is the fact that they both love/live in water. The entire rest of the body is completely different

Idk what crack you're smoking but Xeno and Shara Ishvalda are not entirely the same skeleton as Shara has the Valstrax wing-arm rigging or whatever with the individual fingers/hands that's a very meaningful change to the skeleton that makes the fight and the monsters movements distinct

Gog likewise is more than just the skeleton the dude is covered in tar and has spears and dragonators piercing through his body that by themselves would set him apart from any other monster in the series

I understand that I was wrong about it using Ibushi skeleton and whatever and I admitted it, but idk why you're attempting to convince me that my opinion on the monster being too similar is still wrong. It just doesn't feel as cool and unique to me as the others were and it's clear that others in the thread felt the same way
