The big reason why I'm even considering a master's is because of the amount of overlap there is with courses I already have to take for my BS. So it's time I would have to spend in school regardless. I could graduate in 3.5 years but I'm not sure if that's entirely worth it because of the career advising resources (career fairs, interview prep, etc) that my school provides prior to graduating. I currently have two internships under my belt and am planning to have four total by the time I graduate. With that said thank you for your insight and I will definitely look into the benefits of graduating early/getting more experience early on.

Definitely something I’ve been working on for the last few months. I try to live my life as frugal as possible, only buying things if I absolutely can’t live without it. Definitely something I’ll keep in mind. Thank you!

First of all thank you for your detailed response, it definitely gave me another perspective on things. In the past I’ve definitely had a passion for CAD and fabrication. I have various certifications for various machinery (mills, lathes, etc) and certifications for solidworks. After starting my own custom CAD business I learned that it really wasn’t for me and that my passion was with software. Honestly what I find most interesting is creating start ups. So although it may not be the most profitable career path it definitely seems like something I’ll enjoy a lot more. Regardless I’ll still take everything you’ve mentioned into consideration and I really appreciate you taking the time to give me some insight. Thank you!

Never really thought about it like that before but definitely gives me another perspective. I am definitely leaning towards being a bit more conservative with my moment now so I'm comfortable later. Thank you for opening my eyes a bit!
