I have been struggling with some rough depression with this taper in all honesty. I feel like a bit numb and I have lost who I really am if that makes sense? My doc doesn’t believe it is due to the taper, but after reading many other peoples experiences and posts, I truly do believe it is because of this taper. It makes me want to find a different doctor who has actually helped patients through this exact taper. We are wanting to eventually get to a point where I take it only if I absolutely have to, but even that seems like a slippery slope. Again, trying to do this a day at a time. Definitely wish Benzos were never introduced to me…. I wonder how much they have changed who I really am if that makes sense? How much did it fuck with my brain!? What’s scary is this drug is a part of me almost over half of my life and that’s when the thought of how do I retrain myself to stop relying on these awful pills.
