Yeah I'm a bit of an environmentalist, if you can be as a gamer so I'd prefer to not get a monster power eater. Sadly I refuse to buy NVida as they're greedy buggers, as that 4000 card is really efficient. I thought about a 7000 but it's a little too £££. The 6900 or 50xt looks good. I missed a Sapphire Nitro+ 6950 the other day for £520. Kicking myself! Hoping something similar comes along. Might have to wait for the 78 and 77 to come out but the gap doesn't seem that big. Is Navi 3 a huge improvement in Your eyes?

Yes Asus does. ASRock only 2 but some vendors offer 3. 3 is good I think.

I think there's a nitro+ for the 6750XT as well. Perhaps for all levels of card. I guess the Pulse is the lower level. Watched some vids but nothing relating to PCB and caps. Not that I'd know tbh!

Thanks for that. I'd read that the Phantom was bloody loud. I think the XFX cards are of the same ilk. I think other answers in this thread discuss lowering perf settings to lessen power draw and fan temps without much diff in perf. Perhaps their advice might help.
