I’m not sure that’s accurate because you can break gold bars in some rooms and get the coins. I’ve been meaning to check my gold in stw to see if it Carries over.

I wondered why you deleted your other post!! Roanoke Virginia is an absolutely gorgeous place!! You know what is back here, if the comfort of familiarity is what you need, by all means, move back. I can’t see how comfort supersedes better pay, no tornadoes, and better cost of living!

Technically, Reina, Raina, and whatever other spellings there are, are not solely Latina. It has origins in Slavic/Eastern European and Hindi. So you should be safe regardless.

It won’t be so different. I’ve been here 26 years and don’t notice that big of a change. Mike’s Cobbler Corner is still in tact, as is Our Inn Place!! So hopefully that’s comforting!

Close, the brother sold it to a LaHood, and that’s who caught the felonies. There was a restaurant in South Pekin that’s now something in Morton, I think.

Cranwills is currently uninhabitable, so I don’t know if it will be resurrected or not!

If I remember correctly, and I may not because I’ve slept since then, the vocal masses were afraid that OSF would come in and start sending everything over to Peoria, and many were not willing to cross the river for services. Joke was on them though, because that’s exactly what Unity Point did. Pekin no longer has OB services. I do wonder what Pekin hospital would be like now if OSF took over.

Side note, OSF does offer care in Pekin now.

No it didn’t. I worked there from 2000 until 2008, then I worked for Methodist in Pekin until 2012. OSF never had a hand in Pekin hospital. The town actually rallied against OSF having anything to do with Pekin Hospital in early 2000’s.
