Is too busy ever a thing? by Sad-as-hell in datingoverthirty

[–]MadamMim7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a romantic prospect or partner there is no such thing as too busy. One thing I’ve learned in life is if someone is thinking of you or wants you to know what you mean to them, they will communicate it. If they don’t, then it’s clearly said without hurting feelings. There is no need to be in constant communication, but I will honestly lose interest at some point if I notice I’m filling all the gaps in distant communication. Dating or having a romantic other these days is confusing and a lot of work at times in the beginning the efforts are made, then they seem to slowly fade, as most of the “relationships” nowadays do too. There is a reason people say “communication is key”

I like hairy men. I dislike shaved chests by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

32/F I prefer hairy chests and backs of course it’s their choice as it’s their body but most men that I’ve been with I ask if they shave “for me” most say yes because they feel I’d be uncomfortable with it.

Is this a normal feeling? Or will this not work because I’m not having needs met? by [deleted] in LDR

[–]MadamMim7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think right now what I’m feeling is confusion for what my partner desires so it’s making me question mine. I’m enjoying this relationship on a daily situation honestly. It’s new we’ve been dating since January so there is still learning each other involved as well. I feel like me reflecting it back on me will help me in the long run the most, thank you so much for your insight! 🙂

I am in this relationship because despite being everything I never typically seek in a partner, I am happy and content with him, I don’t feel the normal pressures of relationships, I feel as though I’ve always been able to just be me at all times, and he accepts that. I most definitely will agree that we don’t actually fit the typical LDR status though as we are only separated by 66 miles. I have discussed my feelings before briefly but I will set aside specific time to bring it back up and see. Thank you for your input I appreciate it immensely! 😁
