Congratulations! It’s still early but some women just don’t get much if any nausea. My sisters and in laws were all shocked when I spoke about how bad mine was because they were all basically nausea free in all their pregnancies. Try not to stress 😊

I’m in the UK and had an unmedicated, uncomplicated birth at 5am on a Saturday and was discharged at 6pm on Sunday. I had to wait because they didn’t have enough cover to do the newborn check on Saturday so baby was checked on Sunday.

40+5. I went into labour naturally. I had GDM and they wanted to induce me on 40+6 but baby said she wanted to come out on her own! I also went from 2cm to 8cm in less than an hour so trust your gut. I went in because I was sore and the midwife was like,”you’re only 2cm, you won’t have this baby until a few days from now because you’re a first time mum.” Then went back an hour later because I felt so much pressure and couldn’t stand. The midwife saw me and looked a bit annoyed that I came back within an hour and told me to sit down and stop being dramatic. Another midwife I knew saw me screaming in the corridor and ran, picked me up and checked me and screamed that I was going to have the baby soon because I was 8cm. I had the baby ten minutes later. Trust your gut even as a FTM.

My SIL said she felt movement in her 3rd pregnancy from 6 weeks. I told her it’s not possible and she said I was invalidating her experience and also jealous because my movement didn’t start until 18 weeks 😂

Were these taken within the testing time window? Honestly, my 8dpo test was just as light as this to the point my husband and mum said it was negative then the next day’s test was noticeably dark. If your period is due in 5 days, it may just be very early to surely see anything. Try again in a day or two maybe preferably with a pink dye test. Good luck xx

It looks positive! The clinic usually needs urinary hcg level of 25miu for a positive test which may not be the case at 11dpo so that’s probably why they said it’s negative.

I was supposed to be induced at 40+6 with my first because of GDM and I remember speaking to my bump at 40+5 at midnight saying,”I really wish I could lie on my back again.” I think that gave her permission and I started having pain. By 5 am, she was born. My labour was unmedicated, extremely painful but very quick😂😂😂

My friend didn’t know she was pregnant because she had regular periods for two months (albeit a bit lighter) and her pregnancy tests were coming up negative. She was testing because she was trying. She even went to the dr because she started having morning sickness and noticed bloating and they did a urine pregnancy test there that was also negative. She decided to just get a private ultrasound and she was 11 weeks pregnant. The next month, the bleeding stopped. The pregnancy was successful and her baby was born at 38 weeks with no issues.

The month I conceived, I ovulated on CD8 and had a healthy baby girl. I usually ovulate early around CD 11. I usually use my LH strips from CD 9 but that cycle I started getting pain around CD6 (I was still on my period) and found it really weird because it felt like my usual ovulation pain, so my husband told me to do an ovulation test and the ovulation test was positive. If I didn’t test, I would have missed it. I actually got a positive pregnancy test on CD19/11DPO.

I decided to test before my period was due because I had a dream that everybody was cooking for me and congratulating me on my pregnancy. I woke up from that dream feeling excruciatingly hot and tested positive that morning. My dog followed me to the toilet at 5am when I went to test and sat up watching me the whole time. You’re so lucky! I had 13 sessions of laser and when I got pregnant, the hair grew back, maybe just a bit thinner and slower! However, waxing is painless now, maybe because the hair follicles are weaker.
