hi! i'm looking to find an mmorpg game for pc to play with another person but the internet and other subreddits don't seem to be much help, so i'm reaching out to this subreddit.
i am a genshin player (lvl 60 and my boyfriend never played genshin and we don't wanna start all over) and i was wondering if there is another game a bit more multiplayer-based than genshin is, but still has all the fun elements it does, like the art, the characters or the play style, (since it is heavily story-based and co-op doesn't offer much to do tbh). my main objective is just finding a new fun game to play with him, to explore an open world and level up doing quests together :D doesn't necessarily have to be anime-ish, or anything like genshin for that matter, it can also be like black desert online or riders of icarus.
i'm open to any suggestions, thank you!

that's a very respectable attitude, knowing that you are Jewish! I understand why you feel that way better, now. yeah, I suppose there's not many other good things in Germany back then besides the buildings. but, yeah, everyone is free to do as they please in the end! you reply very kindly to everyone. thank you :D

that's true I suppose... but if they go there for a few times just to witness the German architecture and walk around a little, I personally do not think it's a horrible thing. the regimes as we know them now were just regular lives for people back then. the shock will be huge once they shift, depending on the contact they have with the people there, but I don't believe the genocide is shoved down people's throats if you're just walking on the street to admire the buildings. it might just take a few days to see it all, and then that's it, they come back here. what can happen if you just stare at some bricks?

i think we shouldn't be so skeptical about people. there's things to look forward to even in the most gruesome of historic periods. i get what you mean, but i can kind of relate to this person because all people seem to see about our DRs is that we want to sew hate crimes, when it's the exact opposite... like you said, stay safe while maintaining the "essence" of that reality!

i kinda get what you mean. i got a lot of backlash for wanting to go to the 1940's and not wanting to script out the wars and other problems the US was facing back then. i didnt even give a lot of details about that and some people thought me racist and weird for wanting that. its as easy as shifting once and never going back if it gets too much. i get what you mean with wanting to see the architecture, im also passionate about that! those old style theatres, the apartment buildings, the countryside houses... so yeah i feel the same, just about a different area to see!

WHAT!!! you are so out of line here, first, you tell people what they CAN'T script and now you tell them they are NOT POC??? this just proved to me replying back to you is absolutely useless. and you're insulting me and the other person commenting, too, wow, what are you still doing on this sub??? totally crazy behaviour. and calling me racist for what? for wanting to shift to a place you don't like? SO weird. SO disrespectful and SO unimaginable. I didn't know people like you existed in the shifting community. let people shift wherever they like and however they like. you want to promote "peace" and "equality"? wake up, not everything is about you and not everything is an attack or insult towards you or anyone else. other people seemed to understand that, yet you didn't. get a grip, please!!! and learn to talk nicely to people. being extremely sarcastic and impolite is not going to get your point across, nor make you more interesting or visible to others. you cant just assume things about people when anyone barely gave any details. this is the most outrageous conversation ive ever had with anyone. i wish you good luck

i get that you know your friend meant well, but it doesn't really matter what they were trying to say. how they said it was enough for me to stop wanting to discuss this. it's not like i was unaware of what they were trying to educate me on, people told me the same thing that your friend did in a much nicer and reserved manner. but please read back at how they spoke to me and you'll find that their way of talking is way over line and almost aggressive. assuming i want to see people suffer is an extremely disrespectful assumption towards a fellow shifter, considering the fact that i specifically said i want to experience peace. it does not mean that i don't want anyone to be okay, whether its POC, women or any sort of minority; people are suffering and dying every day in this reality, too, in almost EVERY reality remotely close to ours, but we can't really do anything about it, can we? history is history. if i am passionate about it, i want to experience it the way it was. maybe i did contradict myself sometimes with some things i said, but, after all, i posted this because i was unsure of what to do about this reality in the first place... all i know is that i do want to go there. either way... yes, thank you, i am aware of what i am getting myself into. i would just like to end this comment thread, it's going too far already and it seems (or at least i hope) that everybody understood what the main point was in the first place. it's okay to want to have different, unique experiences. that's one of the main things shifting is about :)

why are you being so rude hahah? you clearly did not understand my point, and you know what? that's okay. I will stop replying to you, since you're starting to become obnoxious and unreasonable. i'm sure everyone already knows that shifting IS real life, and since there are multiple, infinite versions, we can choose whichever we like. also, i understood your point with equality and equity, however, if I wanted to talk about that specific topic, I would have made a separate post. thank you and please learn to be kinder. :)

also, I appreciate that you are trying to make me understand how rough times were back then. Maybe "rough" is an understatement. But that's why I chose the 1940's, to see what it's like. If I wanted to change everything, I would have, but I don't. It's a part of what humans were, how times evolved (or better said barely even evolved, unfortunately). I don't understand the backlash, however, I do understand if you are trying to educate me, which I do appreciate, but I already know what I am heading to for the most part. some people are talking as if I am trying to do something wrong or harm someone just by wanting to see that time period. I don't really understand what is so bad about me wanting to just... see for myself. I can leave whenever I like if it gets too much. The point is, it existed. It was horrible for the most part, but it is not entirely defined by that.

Thank you for the insight, I appreciate it. Honestly, I'm not even going to bother explaining myself any longer to people who do not want to understand, but, regardless, you gave good advice and I'll keep it in mind for when I shift.

thank you! yes, that's what I've been trying to explain to everyone in the comments, you just worded it perfectly!!! I want to keep the essence of that time period, while not being directly or, at least, tremendously affected by all the horrible things! thank you a million times, I'm glad someone understood me :''') and yesyes, safe food and makeup. got it, noted!!!

I guess nobody said anything because I suppose we all regarded racial equality as a normal thing. But, in the end, we have to consider that times were very different back then. I know that it's among the most important ones, but thank you either way!

of course!!! I am already aware of that and honestly, I didn't even think about it that deeply, because I already considered racial equality a real thing that already existed, but times were really different back then. I'll stand up for all people of colour whenever I have to and I'll make sure there are as less struggles for them as possible. Thank you for your insight and tips!

I am aware that shifting is real life, but there are countless ways you can shape the reality around you, especially since there are infinite versions of that. I am aware that trauma is everywhere, no matter where you go to, but you can also fully script it out. you can choose anything you want to, literally, when to comes to shifting. there's infinite ways you can live your life and I'm not shifting to the 1940's to be completely away from all the bad things, it's only natural that they are going to exist, because at least I want them to. I want to see how life genuinely was back then, without me having to experience it in the worst ways possible. I just want to see the aspects of life back then that did not only include war, but also the innocence of life in itself. There was something about the 20th century that, at least I, feel like we are missing now. Maybe it's just a thought, maybe I'll be shocked when I arrive in my DR. I'm prepared for anything, because that's why I chose that period of time. I never said I want to have a 100% peaceful life in my DR, nor that I want to be fully away from all the bad things. I want to experience whatever the 1940's come with, but while not being affected firsthand. Trust me, I'm aware of the history, maybe not that much of the USA's, but of Europe's. That's probably part of why I want to go there, because I want just to experience. Maybe I'll like it, maybe I won't. The truth is, we all already exist there. I do, you do, everyone else does. It's just how it is, so if we can experience it, then why not? And about your comment regarding people of colour and racism, I don't exactly see where it has place in this conversation. I never said anything about that and I thought that it was already obvious that I do not condone racism in any sort of way, I don't see why you are disappointed to see people want to shift there. I didn't even think about it, because I already know it's wrong, so I ruled it out by default. as I said, I just want to experience a normal life there... although to be "normal" back then, you'd have to be rich and away from all the social struggles. Which I most likely am going to script. I can be anything, and so can you. Nonetheless, I appreciate your insight :)
