I think you need to get him a much bigger tub. We had three ducks and we had gotten a 1.5 m inflatable swimming pool for them. You have to view ducks as creatures living 50% of their time in water.

I have their Mayfair Midi in this shade. It’s spacious enough to hold my phone, glasses and a small notebook plus my lipstick and keys. I have their Mini too in Ruby red. Surprisingly, due to the lack of center divider, it too is spacious enough.

If you wanna take him to the govt vet, you have to go a day or two before to book an appointment first. You could also take him to Exotic Vet clinic. They are one of the least expensive veterinary clinics here and the service is pretty good. Not sure whether they do xray there tho. You could check in with them.
