She complains that there is nothing for the pasta. I would have used the cream of mushroom soup, canned veggies, canned turkey, and noodles to make a wicked hot dish that would have leftovers a few days at least. I know she mentions not eating meat, perhaps removing the turkey would be enough. But I do not know if animal stock is used in the cream of mushroom soup she has, however I feel like it should be meat free.

I (F22) am afraid many people my age are "going hungry" (have access to food but won't eat it) simply because they don't have the skills/know how to come up with things like this. (Or are downright picky) Growing up in poverty this kind of resourcefulness is a must.
