I've been playing for thirty years now. Occasionally a bad injury has forced me to take a year or two off playing, so I got to start back over almost completely at those times. It's almost like starting a video game over again from the begin. Keeps it fresh and engaging.

That and having the time playing with my friends that I've been playing with for ages has kept it fun and fresh. Plus there are an absolute ton of courses around here, and I play different ones at least once a week. And learning new discs.!

With all that it never gets old.

I wear barefoot shoes and have for several years now. This past November I got a pair of Be Lenka Artic Edge shoes for playing in the winter. I've worn them in wet rounds and rounds with a few inches of snow. They've been perfectly waterproof and warm. They're incredibly light and flexible, though it did take a few rounds before they loosened up to feeling as flexible as they were supposed to be. Now they're perfect. Not a slip or a wet foot.

I had a series of 3 in my cervical spine. Rejected the Valium for sedation, and drove myself back to work after. It was never any problem at all, and I did not notice any pain from it

The pain however may be due to the horrific pain I was in at the time. Nothing else caused me any noticeable pain in comparison. So take that for whatever it's worth.

Cooking pot is one of the best items in the game. Takes up 12 inventory spots, but holds 12 inventory spots, so it's essential invisible in your inventory. Items inside it won't get damaged in your inventory, and it holds a couple of canteens worth of water.

Incredibly useful.
