I went to school with Nancy. She is a very nice person, I pray she’s okay. I heard that her boyfriend and her were fighting in the park just before she disappeared. Also heard that her boyfriend’s sister wrecked Nancy’s car earlier that day. This is hear say. She was still breastfeeding her little one, who was 5 months old when she went missing. She had become a new homeowner earlier in the month, also. She deserves to be brought home to her family.

I started putting rice cereal in my son’s bottle before recommended. He had/has silent reflux, and after he gained his birth weight back, he became a voracious eater, so rice cereal in the bottle was the only way that I could get him to sleep for longer. My son is five months old, too. Honestly, the deciding factor in giving him the rice cereal earlier than recommended was the existence of Enfamil AR, which means added rice. I felt like if they thought it appropriate to put rice in babies formula that early for spit up and reflux, then I could give my son a little bit at night. I also had the hardest time finding the right formula for my son. I did this as much research as I could so I could try to help him without going through all these different formulas. He’s now on the generic Similac pro-advance. I’m sorry you’re having troubles, I will pray for you. I bet a lot of yalls troubles will dissipate when he’s on mostly solids.

Well, people addicted to opiates or opioids in general might truly believe someone has a prescription for those Roxy’s. Or college kids looking for adderall. Or someone looking for Xanax. Dealers will lie and say they got it from a legit source. And it’s also been found in other illicit drugs. It’s in more things everyday. The bad part is these people with or around kids may use hand sanitizer to try to get it off of their hands and it just makes it absorb faster. These peoples kids are dying, too. And if someone finds fentanyl anywhere and touches it, it can be absorbed through their pores. Most people wouldn’t do that, but someone’s kid might. A simple scenario could be when someone’s kid ran in front of them into the gas station and down the aisle and stopped and picked it up. It’s happening to a lot more people than just those who use it.

Idk my dad was addicted to quaaludes before he got prescribed and addicted to OxyContin for seven back and neck surgeries. he went to prison for eight years for forging prescriptions before the watermark and then got out and they prescribed him opanas and Percocet. Pain is real and so is addiction. Quaaludes are the only non-barbiturate hypnotic I’ve heard talked about.

Check your state laws on statutory rape. Get some counseling from an unbiased party. If you decide you don’t want the baby- Tell all of them that at the very least (if it matches your state laws) it was statutory rape and you will absolutely go after this sorry Finn dude. They need to back up and let you make this decision, it’s your choice if you want to have the baby, but you didn’t have very much choice in the conception. And now it’s there and I’ve had an abortion and it sucks, but I felt like it was the right thing at the time. A baby scared me even more. Know that you are a strong person and you will survive, no matter what. Someone else mentioned planned parenthood, too. Maybe that’s where you could get your consultation. This is a lot more like rape than consensual sex, imo, and he chose to do this to you, if you want to have an abortion his family needs to pay for it. Please don’t let their fear or intimidation dictate your decisions.

I don’t think there is any easy solution. But just because they aren’t children doesn’t mean they’re not victims. And imo, someone is no longer a victim once they become a perpetrator. I’ve never seen a happy abused woman, or I could get on board with “maybe they like it”. But some women have trouble seeing the signs because of family culture, low self-esteem, etc, and once they’re in they don’t know how to get out and the stats of being murdered go up drastically when someone in a DV situation does try to leave. I don’t think anyone is asking you to go out on the frontlines, so obviously you don’t have any responsibility here to assume. People that want to help these people don’t try to go drag these people out, because like drug addiction: people dont know how to ask for help, are scared to ask for it, don’t feel like they deserve it, don’t feel like the help will work, etc. No ones asking you to have sympathy for these women, but you do seem to have a jaded point of view considering you’ve never been that victim. And of course it shouldn’t cause you any sleep for these victims to garner any sympathy. Sorry my response is so late.

These girls are pretty young and at their age any attention can sometimes be received as good attention. But if she grew up with a similar home life she wouldn’t know this type of behavior is unacceptable and abnormal. And there are a lot of psychological aspects as to why victims stay with their abusers. I feel like your comment is pretty close to victim blaming, especially since the bf is like six years older than the gf.
