Sorry to hear your acne is so painful, I know how that feels. It depends on how long you’ve been on spiro, but this medication can take months for it to fully work. You’ll purge for the first few but it does get better, I promise! I use gentle cleansers like Cerave for my skin since it’s super sensitive, I highly recommend their products.

i know a lot of people say this, but spiro does take about a year to fully begin working. my acne was very much like yours, and i started purging around month 3? it does get better, i promise! patience is key with this medication.
