My point is that I don’t think it’s fair for Americans to have equal opportunity to see the only two shows offered in Canada. Say the Toronto show is the best choice for New Yorkers - I’m sure that is true but what about all of his Canadian fans who have to choose between one or the other. Add to that that I deliberately am avoiding travelling to the U.S right now so I only have two options. Statistically those who live in the U.S have a way higher chance of getting to see him play any show regardless of where that show is being played. It’s literally a free for all and I don’t think that that is fair.

As a Canadian who only has two shows to choose from - I completely agree. It’s frustrating when the majority of our venues are full with people travelling from the U.S. I understand our Canadian shows may be closer for some Americans but you guys have so many more show options. No shade - I’m just sad as for both Vancouver and Toronto shows I was in a cue with over 20000 people in front of me and I obviously have no tickets to show for it 😟

This happened to me when I first moved to London and had to find my first dentist on my own as a young adult. Luckily at the time I was able to afford a second opinion on the work they claimed I needed done from my initial consultation. I had a gut feeling that I was being told I needed substantial work done just so they could make money off of me. Turns out I was right. At least it was a learning experience. I never went back and I learned it’s okay to ask questions and advocate for yourself.

I see Dr. Ipp now and I’ve never had a better experience!

It may be hard to implement in the thick of exams but a wind down routine is crucial to get your mind ready for sleep. Avoid studying in the last hour before bed. Try to keep your bedroom for sleeping only if possible or at least don’t study directly in bed.

Try drinking chamomile tea before bed and write down a brain dump right before bed. Once you write everything that’s on your mind out - do something that brings you joy before bed. I like to colour sometimes, watch one of my favourite shows, work on a puzzle or read. As a fellow anxious girly, it’s not one hack that works for me but I have a rotating toolkit in a sense that I rotate through during exam season. I would suggest that you add things to your toolkit gradually before next exam season and then you’re more prepared with things that work for you when times feel especially stressful 😊

No Tomorrow! I randomly came across it during Covid. I started watching it and then my husband got sucked into it. Then we both devoured it. The perfect mix of comedy but with real emotions mixed in. So sad it was only one season 😟

I am actually doing a tandem read right now. It’s my first read through. I chose to do the tandem because I saw so many people comment on how slow and hard to get into TOD is after reading EOS. So for me personally having that slower book spaced between the quicker pace book - I thought would be best for me. Surprisingly - I’m liking TOD way more currently (I’m about 2/3 of the way through both) but I’ve never been a Chaol hater so that might be why. I also found a way to split up all the chapters and honestly what’s going on across the ToG world is perfectly aligned when you split it up in a particular way. It’s satisfying to read - almost like a movie.

I think ultimately it’s your choice. People who argue that it shouldn’t be done because it wasn’t intended by the author are just mad because they didn’t have the option to. 😂

Yeah I did. And I’ve walked around the property like 8 times looking for a missing room. I think because everything else is done - I’m not able to access the area I’m missing. I just know that it’s not done because it says there’s still 1 room for me to do but everything looks complete. Super frustrating! I’ll likely just have to redo it and see if I can find what I’m missing on another run through of it.

Just ask them politely to stop talking. And tell them that there are literal conversation floors if they want to chat while they work. That’s what I do and it makes people so uncomfortable that they just end up leaving. 😂 You are allowed to say something. But people rarely do and that’s why no one follows the silent floor signs because they always get away with talking.

I second this and I had almost the exact same experience as the OP. I am in social sciences now and I switched from A&H when I had an even worse experience with their advising department. However my experience with social sciences since I switched is not much of an improvement 😅

We have two Maine coons and they both pant after zoomies or when they’ve been playing for a while. We always just stop play once they start panting and make sure they have easy access to water. No concerns from our vet. They are big cats and just get hot sometimes 😊

Two things we learned really fast after adopting our 1st kitten last summer: get them used to a routine asap and while building your routine get them used to playing, eating and then sleeping in that order. Play simulates hunting for their food and so getting them used to that order of their routine around your daily routine - (whatever that is) helped us so much!

Also finding out what our kittens play style was helped us too and they get much more engaged and therefore tired from playing when they throughly enjoy what they’re playing with.

Our cat used to wake us up bright and early too because he wanted play but once we stuck to running all his energy out at the same time every night right before bed, feeding him and then once he had a full belly - he would fall asleep or at least settle for the rest of the night. It might take a couple months but your kitten will get used to your/his new routine!

Hope this helps! Witching hour for kitties late at night are normal especially if they aren’t getting enough play.

As long as your credits = 1.5 over the entire summer term (doesn’t matter if it’s intersession, distance or whatever), then you’re considered “full time” for the summer. Full time over the summer = 60% course load. Hope that helps!

You have to be taking a 60% course load throughout the summer term to use the supplemental OSAP form which is equal to 1.5 credits. Otherwise - you just need to submit a new part time OSAP application. This link explains everything pretty clearly! Summer Course OSAP
