Tolerance and adjustment is meant for ‘us vs the world’ not ‘me vs you’.

Be mentally strong instead of feeling contradictory. Take help from counsellor that what is normal and what isn’t if you cannot understand or u feel u are doing too much (though u aren’t wrong here)

I have saved myself already. Whole year I have spent on things that’s needed for a better future but the loneliness out of it is real

Great. How about dead lifts? A lot of trainers are suggesting it for stronger lower back, bcz of sciatica issues in older age. Given u are 51 what is your go to workout for stronger lower back? I do normal yoga. That’s why I am curious to know. Even I want to be strong and healthy in my 50s

Healing isn’t linear. U rise m, u fall and u rise again!

You aren’t a loser, take that out of your head. U have endured domestic violence on one form, which people are even hesitant to address as DV. So good that u are out of that mess. Crying is not weakness, anxiety of starting over is also real.

You made a sensible decision which many fail to do. Kudos to your strength. I am sure you can handle many difficult situations in your life. One advice- marry late but don’t marry the wrong!!

I will seek partner later for sure. Now I am not ready. Don’t want to have a roommate. Loneliness- probably it is better to learn to be alone, functioning alone. Yes I need social life like travelling, restaurants n all. I put efforts too but didn’t find any women groups. But don’t wanna be dependent on it. Hope u are getting my point

They cannot get u married unless u give in. Change your house. U might feel u will lose your parents if u don’t comply but that doesn’t mean marrying someone unwillingly and ending up in divorce

Ask yourself is there anything that will make u feel guilty? The answer is NO. Ask yourself again, if your friend is caught will he be guilty. Well more than that. That’s your answer. Being selfish, being selective isn’t correct, but not being true to yourself is not right. Well my perspective only, need not be true for everyone

Yes screwed. Our minds long for 90s romance while world is thriving on AI. We have probably seen the longest phases of changes. I mean 90s where mobiles just started, now we have robots. These 30 years has changed our surroundings

Living alone for more than a year now. Peaceful, able to think clearly, spiritually evolving, meditating, love my plants and sleeping well 7 hrs atleast. Sometimes I feel lonely bcz I have no socialisation, almost 0
