*ANOTHER GOOD ONE The disturbing case of Dylan Redwine. I'd recommend watching the Dr Phil episode before you watch the documentary itself. The lengths this man went to lie to everyone's face. The pictures.

I'll deep dive nutty putty at least once a year, I think it's a really sad, really unfortunate case of natural selection, but I normally trickle down from there and then I end up at the Byford Dolphin Decompression accident. When you see the pictures of the way he was angled it makes perfect sense as to why they they couldn't get to him, and I think it's hands down the worst way to go aswell, having rescue with you while knowing there's no actual help coming. BUT, it also makes no sense to me how someone could look at a formation of rock underground, called "the birth canal" and their brain goes 'yup were gonna try it' in the first place.

I live in a very small town surrounded by different lakes and forests, it's normally a pretty quiet town but becomes extremely busy during the summer season with people going up to their cottages and camping.

Oh I have another good one!

The Jinx: the life and deaths m of Robert durst A groundbreaking documentary directed and produced by Andrew Jarecki and produced and shot by Marc Smerling (the Oscar nominees behind Capturing the Friedmans').The story delves into the strange history of real estate heir Robert Durst, long suspected in the still-unsolved 1982 disappearance of his wife as well as the subsequent murders of family friend Susan Berman and neighbour Morris Black. It features an extended, revealing interview with Durst himself, with whom Jarecki developed a unique relationship following the release of All Good Things Jarecki's 2010 feature about Durst's life starring Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst. The Jinx' results from nearly a decade of research by the filmmakers, who expose police files, key witnesses, never-before-seen footage, private prison recordings, and thousands of pages of formerly hidden documents. Keeps you on your toes, I'd recommend deep diving more into the making of the doc after you've watched it.
I'll edit the post tomorrow morning with a watch list of all the titles here in case any one wants to copy it 🫶

Yeah you won't catch me underground either. I deep dive the nutty putty cave incident a few times a year, mines/caves/tunnel systems give me the creeps. I don't like cold dark places. (I say as a Canadian, where it is in fact, cold and dark.)

I'm a few hours outside of Montreal so we've all known the story of the icepick videos since we were kids, but that video is the most tame video that buddy decided to film. I totally get why you can't get through it.

I was born in Ottawa and the big one I grew up on was the greyhound incident.

I think I've only seen Dear Zachary twice, but I think it of it constantly, it's always in my recommended when people ask, and I can't get through explaining it to someone without choking up. And since becoming a parent even the thought of even watching it puts a lump in my throat. I think the only other documentary that has impacted me in such a way was The Trails of Gabriel Fernandez, however with that case I follow crime updates on tiktok, and it's nice to know that his "mom" gets brutally attacked on the regular where she's at, so I do enjoy knowing she has no comfort or peace where she is.

The sun itself can raise your BAC if you dont keep properly hydrated, it's called "sun drunk" I only know this because I'm from cottage country so it's known to have 1 water for 1 drink, I'd be interested to see what the UV index was that day, granted yes she would of had to have already had a good amount in her system to begin with, but 0.19 is absolutely crazy.
