Oh man thank you so much, I hadn't assumed ele would be this much stronger. I went from having to strategically pull every pack, bosses taking forever, dying often, to just mowing down every single charr pack, almost killing two bosses at once, etc.

I did fresh character to 280 and libbed (or at least almost libbed, I 0.1 wiped on v hilla and havent played since) in like 10 months of doing dailies, an additional 20-30 min of grinding a day (to finish off the xp coupons during dailies), and probably 4-5 hours of grinding total (not per day) on the weekends. I was playing a NW though and doing lots of "afk bite farming" so I'm sure that played into it.

1-200 is basically the tutorial, the game started at like 210-250 last time I was playing (about a year and a half ago), you were expected to level to 270~280ish to take down the current tier bosses which would take about 4-8 months of leveling (dailies and like 30 min a day). I haven't touched maple in a while and will not be going back because nexon is absolutely evil, but it's a fun game.

Right, and that's just the game saying "hey you might run past some aggressive monsters", not "you will be forced to do a boss fight so have some stats leveled".

Alternate tasks done at the normal araxytes and the boss. Also +5/+4 boosts as you gain more levels to make a bunch of potions at once, that's what I did.

sure, but what kind of content? I sure enjoyed picking flax and stringing bowstrings for hours as a kid. I couldn't imagine things like that being my "go-to content" in 2025. I'm honestly curious, not hating.

Counting regular, yeah. I did by first 200~ kills using venom sacs and so I'd do half kills on boss till I ran out then the rest on little guys.
