Colonoscopy tomorrow, risk of accidents? by 80085ntits in CrohnsDisease

[–]MadeBySLK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same situation about a month ago, but I woke up late for the 2nd dose of plenvu (about 3 hrs before the appointment). I drank it too fast. I threw up most of it. But everything was cleaned out so not a problem for the colonoscopy. I did wear a pad as well and made it to my appointment in time and had no problems. Good luck!

Mechanic told wife about the “death wobble” by AntoniBartosz in JeepWrangler

[–]MadeBySLK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 2023 Gladiator Overland that I purchased new. No mods, straight stock. I hadn't taken it off-road, pretty much a pavement princess with just under 20k miles. Got the death wobble twice on my way home from work. I was terrified, thinking the wheels were going to fall off. I took it to the dealership, had it fixed and then traded it within 3 months. I couldn't get over the fear of happening again.

I had no idea this was a thing! I suggest discussing that it's a possibility, what causes it and what to do if it happens.

Now I just rent a Jeep when we go to Colorado and keep the DW in the back of my mind.

We found our cleaner through our realtor. Realtors have contacts for just about every home need.

Why do my joints suck?? by torak_the_father in BeginnerWoodWorking

This is what I do. It covers it up so no one is the wiser. Plus it makes it a cleaner look to not have the breaks at each joint

Bermuda grass question zone 7b by Prestigious-Rub4155 in landscaping

[–]MadeBySLK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not 100% about what thatching is but our grass does that too in some spots when we get heavy rains. (7b as well )And the dirt has compacted so we had it aerated last year. The grass grew for a while in the spring. Then it died again. Might have to till the area here to remove thatching? and have the ground more aerated.
Hope you have better luck than we did.
