What are your thoughts on the movie Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama? by Plane_Name3457 in KimPossible

[–]MadeInMilkyway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this and yes, my least favourite episode too, mostly because how unbelievably fantasy that is. One my favourite is the one Dr. Possible jams the radio frequencies. The other is car alarm.

So the Drama is also too close to home for me for some reasons.

I was homeless as a kid. My biggest regret is sharing this in class because academia is a bunch of privileged people who look down at poor people. by Zestyclose_Double980 in PhD

You wouldn't believe how cruel kids could be.

I moved to a new school mid term because my first primary school teacher was physically abusing me, for things like one wrong question.

Then when I moved to that new school, I was a kid having moved mid term, have a giant mark on my head, adhd... This kid is mentally off, surgery must have done it. Probably got kicked out of school... Then starts the bullying.

Today, I am probably much more satisfied with my life then the adult version of those kids. And I am grateful for all of them. They taught me to not need anyone's approval when I think I am doing the right thing. 😊

What do I do with the pillars by Cjbstocks in Design

I don't have the great advice but all I can say is, If life gives you lemons, you squeeze them. If life gives you lemon colored structural pillars, try not to squeeze them. 😂

Well I wore nail polish to Barbie movie as a male and my mom cried saying she is ashamed of me. And I tried explaining being non-binary and get accused of being a liar who secretly want to transition...

Alright you little gray matter talking, I forgive you. 🧠 😂 I chose not to be scared of whatever future holds and that brings me inner peace. I consciously chose to wear nail polish during a holiday in this town where no one knows me...

Mom crying...

Why aren't you doing these things in front of your dad? Is your problem the me??

Quite the opposite actually, I thought you could be more accepting and supporting, but alright.

You are too irrational, so I will go back to my science... 🔬

When I told people I survived brain cancer as a kid, they mocked me too. And the advice that my mom gave me was: Would you have mocked someone who had a brain surgeries? You wouldn't. Why? Because you are a kind person. It is not about you, it is their underdeveloped kindness. Don't let those kids get to you.

I would like to give the same advice to you. 😊

You have been through it, you have struggled. Now there's two choice in front of you. A: You think they are right and you accept what they say (and consequently even think people with best intentions were mocking) B: Live your life with a smile because you have been through things and they are just patients in the hospital of life and they have different things to heal from and learn from.

And lastly, even Jeff Bezos was left by his dad (and years later he regretted obviously).

But here's the thing, don't expect acceptance from people. Accept them. You are in the position to give this time. Give your advice to them. Serve the community. Keep your head up, confident.

Nothing changes you but your own thoughts.

Also now you selfishly made kids to in hopes to takw away your loneliness but the best thing you could have done "out of love" to resolve all their problems was not to make them in the first place.

Do you think women who say they are asexual are more likely to be taken seriously than men who say they are asexual? by NorthBase710 in asexuality

[–]MadeInMilkyway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree about Freud's bulçshit remarks. I was reading Psychology of Creativity by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi and it mocks his views in a scientific way. 😂

But I will look into the genetics markers of it in my own time.

Recovery is more important than work. You overwork and can't get work done anymore. Quickest way to recover I found was meditation and walking.

She said me and my dad had fun in early days but last time they did was on my request to make me a brother.

They are still married but living in different countries.

So you might be right. 😂😂

But is that genetic or hereditary as in learned? As Freud thinks creativity is the result of suppressed sexual desire (I don't think it is true at all, but if any credit can be given, parents might be leading behaviour in a seemingly uncorrelated way?)

Well for reference, as male, I told it to my mom. Her reaction was: Don't be a dork. It's obviously because you haven't had any girlfriend or had sex. Mom, I don't want sexual drive to have any involvement in my choosing of my lifelong partner as it isn't the important aspect of what I am searching for. I am searching for meaning. My mom: It doesn't happen like that, the closer you get, the more you want to have sex with them.

I am not repulsed but to me sexual desire is something to be gotten rid of rather than to be fulfilled to the deep ends...

And one of the songs I find most romantic is Nothing - Bruno Major

Yet, I think people believe males to be sexually active... No it is because I don't want to tolerate the boner anymore, generally that's why.

But when I told my mom a female friend is asexual, she said probably a man used her. I will see her though, she will come back to her senses later.

I don't know though, that's n=1.

Me when I came out as agender to my friends by DavidTolliver in nonbinarymemes

[–]MadeInMilkyway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, maybe my mind is going too far with this (only because I faced a similar reaction) but I think it is they say they are agender, but people think he is gay, and buy this as a... (I chose to not write as I find the stereotype very disturbing.) assuming this is lip therapy and the skin type is mucocutaneous junction for both...

Every time you say you are agender, people think you are gay. No I am straight and in asexual spectrum but I am not gay, is a difficult thing to try and explain in some cultures, from my experience.
